Scrapping some school photos

It's Wednesday again and for me that means another sketch from Tanya. This week Tanya's sketch really worked for me. It arrived quite late (please take no offence Tanya!) and as I'm a working mom now it was a close call whether or not I would make it on time....but..... then Manon came home with her school photos! To be honest, I don't really like to scrap the photos taken by the school photographer, I don't know why. Maybe because they are too smooth? or to perfect??? Whatever. This time though, I couldn't wait to start scrapping! I knew exactly what I wanted to do and this is it:
I started with glimmermist and on top of that I sprayed the darker blue ink. The papers are from my October Nook kit, Graphic 45, flowers + centers + felt + swirl are from Prima and the rest is just a bit of this and that.

I think it's my favorite layout right now. What do you think???
And here's the sketch it's based upon:

If you want to see what the other designers made, have a look at the Little Shop of Sketches blog, better...please play along and show us your version of this sketch. You could win some Tanya Leigh Design products!!
Thanks for looking and do leave a comment (I love reading them!). Have a nice evening and see you later! Monique xx
