IMAGINISCE & THE TWINERY BLOG HOP!!

Hi everyone! A very happy Wednesday to you!!

This week Imaginisce is teaming up with The Twinery! The whole week projects are being shown on both Imaginisce's and The Twinery's blogs on how to incorporate twine in your projects. Every day designers from both Imaginisce and The Twinery will show you what they've created. And there's even more good news: if you leave comments on every blogpost you can win this from Imaginisce: a collection package of Endless Summer, an I-Rock tool and a compact of Hot Rocks!

And from The Twinery a choice of 3 spools of twine!

And now on to the project I created for you:

and a close-up:

Supplies: Imaginisce patterned papers (Endless Summer, Childhood Memories), stamp (Endless Summer), sticker stacker (Endless Summer), oversized die cuts (Endless Summer), glam rocks (rhinestuds). The Twinery "Lemondrop" and "Caribbean" twine. Other supplies: cardstock: American Crafts; stamp: Making Memories; chipboard arrows: Maya Road; wood veneer word bubble & Mister Huey's color mist: Studio Calico; stamping ink: Doodlebug (tangerine), StazOnn (black), ColorBox (yellow); tag: misc.; Tools: Silhouette Cameo, I-Rock, sewing machine.

As you can see I used the twine to sew the title onto my layout and to accentuate the stamped image of the sun. I just love to use Twine on my pages! It gives it just the little extra I'm often looking for!

A little tip if you want to sew a word on your layout. First start with looking for a fun font in Word and decide on the size. Then print the word on a piece of paper, place it on your page (I always hold my layout against the window to better see where to place it) and then pierce holes through the printed paper straight into your layout! Next step: Sew! That's all ... very easy, but a great effect!

And now it's time for one of your next stops on this "Wednesday" hop:

- Imaginisce
- Guiseppa Gubler
- Suzanne Lee
&
- The Twinery
- Ashley Bores
- Karola Witczak

Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope to see you back soon!

Hugs,
Monique
