Doodlebug and Bella Blvd Rainbow Layouts - Scrapbook Magazine UK #82

When I was asked to create three “rainbow” type of layouts for issue #82 of Scrapbook Magazine UK I was thrilled! I love creating colourful layouts, the more colours, the better! I already knew I had the perfect papers in my stash: Doodlebug Design and Bella Blvd; two of my favourite manufacturers. And because the magazine hit the stores 3 months ago I can now share the layouts on my blog too!

For this layout “Big Fun” I chose to use mainly washi tape and a sheet of white cardstock. I adhered the washi tape to a 6”x12” piece of cardstock and trimmed it to the right size and adhered it to the bottom of my layout. With a row of photos above it, a title (white, for contrast) and a few bits and pieces I was finished!

And a close-up:

Supply list: patterned paper, twine, Sprinkles, washi tape (red xoxo, dots), cardstock sticker: Doodlebug Design; cardstock: American Crafts (white), Bazzill Basics (kraft); washi tape: Imaginisce (red chevron), Bazzill Basics (blue chevron, Hema (green stars, yellow chevron, blue stripes); sticky bookmarks: Hema; metal clip: Maya Road; burlap stickers: Simple Stories; wood veneers: Studio Calico; stamping ink: Ranger; (foam)adhesives: American Crafts. Tools: Silhouette Cameo; punches: Martha Stewart (butterflies), Stampin’Up (chevron); date stamp: Trodat; attacher: Tim Holtz.

For my layout “Seriously” I chose different strips of patterned paper and cardstock and cut them into banners and embellished them with stickers and such of the same colour. Here I used a black title for contrast.

And a few close-ups:

Supply list: patterned paper: Bella Blvd, Doodlebug, American Crafts; cardstock: American Crafts; cardstock stickers, die-cuts, border stickers: Bella Blvd; burlap sticker, cardstock sticers: Simple Stories; flair button: Lawn Fawn; wood veneer: Queen & Co.; cardstock stickers: October Afternoon; twine: Doodlebug Design;Thicker, (foam) adhesive: American Crafts. Tools: butterfly punch: Martha Stewart.

For my layout “Love this Day” I used my Silhouette to cut the cardstock background and then simply adhered strips of coloured paper behind the cuts. So simple, yet the result is amazing.

And a couple of close-ups:

Supply list: patterned paper: Doodlebug Design, Bella Blvd; cardstock: American Crafts (white), Bazzill Basics (kraft); cardstock stickers, die-cuts, journaling card: Bella Blvd; flair button: Lawn Fawn; wood veneer: Queen & Co; wood button: Jillibean Soup; metal clip: Maya Road; paper clip: Studio Calico; washi tape: Hema; (foam)adhesive: American Crafts; cutting file: Fancy Pants Design. Tools: Silhouette Cameo.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you'll have a fabulous week!
xoxo
