Pretty Little Studio's June Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! Here’s my take on this month’s Pretty Little Studio's sketch. Although I really loved the sketch I struggled quite a bit with it. I started with a 12”x 12” sheet of white cardstock and placed lots of squares on it, but decided quite quickly that I didn’t like the result. So I tried a different format and cut my cardstock to 8.5”x 11” and tried the squares again. This time it looked much better and I decided to go with this take on the challenge. However, when I was done I still wasn’t completely satisfied with the end result and placed the 8.5”x 11” layout on a 12”x 12”white cardstock sheet. And this looked so much better. I added a few strips of paper along the sides and I was done! Love how this turned out!

Love the metallic foiled papers and vellums in this collection sooooo much!!

And then there are lots of super cute die-cuts in this collection....
