It's Monday and that means I can show you Liz' new sketch! It's fabulous yet again!!
This is today's sketch, #79:
and here's my take on it:
I used for this layout the August kit from my Scrapbook Nook, filled with Sassafras Las. LOVE these papers!
The photos I made in July when I took the kids to the zoo in Amersfoort. This zoo is so much fun! For me, the best part is the dinosaur forest!
If you want to see what the rest of the design team did have a look here!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back soon!
Hugs,
Monique

{Sketch #78 The Scrappiest!}
How time flies!! It's Monday again!! And that means a brand new sketch from Liz at The Scrappiest!!
Look at this wonderful sketch she made:
And because the kids got another rabbit two weeks ago, I had the perfect pics!
I started this layout stitching a striped craft sheet to my Bazzill background, but I don't know what happened, I just couldn't get it right!! In the end I angrily tore off the sheet and I ended up with this border... it's funny because I like this border much better than my original plan!! Love it when that happens! :-)
I used papers from Echo Park, cardstock from Bazzill, journaling note from Prima, letters from American Crafts, letter stickers & stickers from Echo Park, buttons from Buttons Galore and the epoxy shapes from Epiphany Crafts. Oh and I almost forgot; last week I received a "quick-fix permanent adhesive runner" from Helmar, one of the product partners from myStampBOX, I used the adhesive on this layout..... and I was totally surprised: it's the best adhesive I ever used!!!!

Catching Up!!!
This week my projects for INKIDO were up on their blog and that means I can show them on my own blog too!!! Here they are:
Here’s the layout I created for the final round of the design team call. All the finalists received a package with the same Inkido products and the assignment to create something with it and this is what I came up with:
And then last but not least:
As you'll probably guess once you see my layout my favorite color is red and especially these dark red colors from the Tuva collection!!
For this layout I used papers from the collections: Tuva, Autumn Wardrobe and Autumn Friendships. I really love these warm autumn colors and because I wanted to use as many of these beautiful papers as possible, I just layered them all on top of each other!
I'm so VERY HAPPY that I'm part of Inkido's design team!!! Their products are so very very very BEAUTIFUL!!!
Hugs,
Monique

Here’s my very first layout created while being on Inkido’s design team. When I received the box of Inkido goodies I was very impressed and a bit “afraid” to start! The products are so beautiful, how could I ever cut them up?! But, as they were sent to me to do just that, I just started and once I begun I couldn’t stop!
Inkido materials I used: Red cardstock and corrugated cardstock, patterned paper: Autumn Friendship “Anita”, Autumn Wardrobe “Knitted Owls” and “Tailored Stripes”, two pins, some flowers, a metal embellishment and some pearls.
And then last but not least:

August sketch My Little Shoebox!
Last Saturday I had a crop in my favorite scrapbook store "Scrapbook Nederland" in Voorburg and it was so much fun!!!
I came prepared (for once) and managed to almost finish two layouts!!! One for The Scrappiest (which I'll show you later, as soon as Liz puts it up on her blog) and this one for the MLS sketch challenge. As soon as I saw this sketch I knew I wanted to use it.... I really LOVE circles!!! and I had just bought some of the new MLS lines!
Here's their sketch:
And here's my take on it:
Used the new Harmony line, isn't it sweet??? and - of course - I used my Epiphany Crafts tool again to create the epoxy hearts!

I'm so sorry....
... that I didn't get on the DT of My Scrapbook Nook :-( BUT check out the girls who did make it!!! It's such a great team Leah has chosen!!! Can't wait to see what they'll create with the kits in future!!!! Hilde & Mahlin, if you read this, congrats girls!!! So happy for you both!!!
On to the next topic: myStampBOX!
Last Tuesday it was my turn to post on their blog and this is what I made:
As it was so terribly hot here in The Netherlands (and I really had had enough of the sun!) I decided on one of my winter photos taken in Disneyland Paris.
For this frame I used three different stamps from the “Road Trip” set (the tag, part of the title and the circle bottom left).
I had so much fun creating these projects and sure hope you’ve enjoyed them too!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back soon!
Hugs, Monique
On to the next topic: myStampBOX!
Last Tuesday it was my turn to post on their blog and this is what I made:
For this layout of my youngest I used one of the butterfly stamps from the “Colorful Companions” set for my background. I stamped it various times with Versamark ink so the butterflies wouldn’t be too obvious and therefore just perfect for a background.
Furthermore I used a few flowers from the “Abundant Blossoms” set and the filmstrip from the “Snapshot” set for a little journaling.
I also used my tools from Epiphany Crafts to create the heart in the word "home".
I also made another project, a photo frame:
For this frame I used three different stamps from the “Road Trip” set (the tag, part of the title and the circle bottom left).
I had so much fun creating these projects and sure hope you’ve enjoyed them too!
