Last Monday it was "Pinterest Monday" on Scraptastic's blog and Jill Sprott and I had the honor to find us a fun pin and create projects inspired by this pin. I used Scraptastic's June kit "Thinking Out Loud" and the add-on.
This was the pin we chose:
The first thing I noticed were – of course – all the different pieces of fabric in all shapes and sizes…. I just had to incorporate that in my page. In my case I translated the pieces of fabric to pieces of different papers. I also thought of these photos I had of Parc Guell in Barcelona, with all the Gaudi projects in “mosaic” style and thought those photos would be perfect!
The next thing I noticed was the awesome stitching. As I love stitching on my projects, I wanted to add that to my project too.
Next I added the title and some vellum hearts. I adhered both of them with glossy accents, which worked perfectly for the acrylic “remember” word, but not so much for the vellum. I should have stuck to my Tombow vellum adhesive.
Now if you have the time, I would love if you'd hop over to Scraptastic's blog to check out more projects created with this kit, or maybe you could have a look at Jill Sprott's blog ... I'm a huge fan of her work!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!
Have a great week!

Scraptastic June Sketch Challenge - Me and my hobby
Hi everyone!! Last Thursday the June sketch challenge went up at Scraptastic Club's blog and a fun one this is!!
For my page I used the Scraptastic June 2015 Thinking Out Loud kit, add-on and printables:
I adjusted the sketch a bit to my liking, but all in all I think it's still pretty close. I adore the large Maggie Holmes letters, but found them a bit too large for my page and used my scissors to cut around them. That's when I found out that they had a protective film you had to remove before using, lol. (didn't do that one of my previous layouts!).
I added lots of bits and pieces from the kit and add-on and used my sewing machine to stitch around some of the squares and added a few drops of mists.
And this is this month's sketch:
If you want to see what the other design team members did with this sketch then please hop over to Scraptastic's blog!
Thank you so much for visiting! Have a fab weekend!

M @ 18 | Scraptastic Club
A happy Friday to you all! Here’s a layout I created using the June 2015 Thinking Out Loud kit and add-on from Scraptastic Club. I love this kit so much and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. My favorite item in this kit, well really in the add-on, is the wooden heart from Maggie Holmes. I used it straight away, but as I couldn’t stand the idea that once I used it, it would be “gone” I decided to use it as a template first. So here’s what I did:
I used a sheet of white cardstock as my background, placed the wooden heart on top and spray misted it with Prima’s gold foil Color Bloom. Next I layered different elements on top, mostly pink colored, like one of the pink metal bobbies from Dear Lizzy (only I removed the back pin and glued the top – the word – to my page) and this glitter foam word. Isn’t it awesome?!
Furthermore, I used quite a lot of this month’s printables on this page, like the pink/white journaling card with the ampersand and the pink “noted” word above my photo. I also adore the exclusive cork shapes in this kit, like the huge @ and all the vellum words:
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy scrappy weekend!

Scraptastic Store - Amy Tangerine - Good Times and Scraptastic Kit Club July Sneak Peeks!
Hi everyone, today I've got a layout up on Scraptastic Club's blog which I created with Amy Tangerine’s Rise and Shine collection from the Scraptastic Store. I’m always drawn to the colorfulness of Amy’s collections and can never resist buying all of them. For this layout I chose a photo of my 3 kids in a hurricane simulator. They had so much fun! My daughter’s hair flew all over the place and while she was trying to “rescue” it, her brothers had to laugh so hard!
I love the epoxy stickers that come with this collection, because of the extra dimension they add to my page and used quite a lot of them. Thinking of hurricanes I thought adding some clouds would be approriate.
I also adore the “silver” die-cuts, like the cloud and the word “happy”.
Another favorite of mine … frames!
Supplies: Amy Tangerine – Rise & Shine: Monroe Kraft Paper, Isabella Transparent Paper, Lana Paper, Emma Paper, Nicole Paper, Ella Paper, Mini Shaped Paperclips, Epoxy Stickers, Die Cut Cardstock Shapes, Chipboard Frames. American Crafts: Thickers.
Next .... the Scraptastic Kit Club July Sneaks!!!

Summertime Rolls:
I'm so excited about these kits!! Can't wait for them to arrive! I chose both the TLN and the Summertime Rolls kit, but am still in doubt wheter or not I should take the True Colors as well .... It's so hard to choose! The good news is that as of July 1st you can order yours too!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and wishing you some happy crafting!

Happy Birthday Cards - Imaginisce
Today I've got two birthday cards up on Imaginisce's blog and I thought I'd share them here as well.
I created these cards for some of my youngest's friends who have their birthdays during the summer holidays and who are having their parties next week, just before everyone sets off to their various vacation destinations. I used the Heartland Farm collection as this collection contains so many sweet animal die-cuts.

I used the Heartland Farm collection as this collection contains so many sweet animal die-cuts.
Here's what I did:
For the first card I wanted to create a "tower" of animals and came up with this: aren't those sheep and the cow adorable? Look at those sweet faces!
And for the second card I just wanted to include many animals, to create the idea of a party and came up with this:
I so adore the colors and the patterns of this Imaginisce collection!
Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, cardstock die-cuts (Heartland Farm); American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce D-Stress Tool.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Hope you'll have a wonderful day!

Scraptastic Store | Elle's Studio | Today You
Hi everyone! Today you'll find one of my layouts on the blog of the Scraptastic Store. I used the Cienna collection from Elle’s Studio. I love everything from Elle’s Studio, from the papers to the embellishments, the stamps, the cut files … love it all. So when I saw that Jessica had added this collection to the store, I ordered it straight away!
What I also love are sketch challenges! I can’t get enough of them! And because Elle’s Studio has a weekly sketch challenge I decided to join in! Here’s what I did:
And this is the sketch from the challenge:
Here’s my supply list: Elle’s Studio – Cienna: Patterned Paper: Lots Of Love Paper, Hello Beautiful Paper, Flowers Paper, Adorable Paper; Stickers; Word Labels; Bits and Pieces.
Thank you so much for taking the time to take a peek at my page!

I Love You | Pretty Little Studio | Word Art Feature
Last week I had a layout on Pretty Little Studio's blog for “Friday Feature”. The "Friday Feature" was all about featuring the awesome Pretty Little Studio’s “Word Art”. For my page I chose to use Word Art from the You & Me collection not only because I wanted to use this collection to scrap a photo of my husband and I, but also because I love the font, the watercolor effect and the soft pink colors of the words! The diecuts are of fabulous quality: the paper is 80 lb heavy card stock and wonderful to work with!
The photo I used was taken last month and I wanted to scrap it straight away as I don’t have many photos of the two of us (mostly because I’m the one behind the camera – I know many of you can relate, lol).
Pretty Little Studio Supplies: You & Me collection: Patterned Paper: Romantic, Kisses, Love You; Vellum: Entangled Together; Word Art: Best Friends, Sweetheart, Love Story, I Love You; Cut-Outs: Love Story Word Flags; Shipping Tags: Sweetie Pie; Diecuts: Feathers – Tickle Me; Flair: Heart You Buttons; Bingo: You.
Other Supplies: digital cut file "Heart Felt Background" from The Cut Shoppe, Silhouette Cameo, Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels, Color Shine from Prima Marketing and Twine from The Twinery.

Invitation Cards - Imaginisce
Happy Monday everyone! Yesterday I sat down and created these two cards with the fabulous Family Fun collection from Imaginisce: one is an invitation for a pool party and one is an invitation for dinner.
As we're in the middle of getting a new kitchen (the old one is removed, but the new one is not installed yet) we're not able to prepare dinner for ourselves. Luckily many of our friends and family are inviting us over to have dinner with them. So I thought it would be a could idea to start creating invitations to ask them back, as soon as the installation of the new kitchen is finished.
I don't know for whom these cards will be exactly, but this one is to ask someone over to have dinner with us:
LOVE all the fun die-cuts & stickers!!!
And the next card is to ask someone over to join us for a (pool?)party, by way of saying thanks for their help:
Supplies: Imaginisce : Patterned Papers, Die Cuts, Stickers (Family Fun); American Crafts: cardstock & Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce D-Stress tool.
Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you an awesome week (with maybe some crafting?!).

Currently 2 - Webster's Pages - SG CREATE Magazine #14
Hi my scrappy friends!! Today I'm sharing my first project for the May issue of CREATE Magazine. This layout was created for the "color" challenge. The assignment was to use the six color swatches you'll find below to create a single-page OR double-page layout and here's what I did:
This photo was taken last Easter when we went for a long walk. I love to see my two boys getting along so well together. The title “Currently 2” is about the fact that at that time my 3rd child, my daughter, was away for a year and we had only two kids at home. This Webster’s Pages collection is one of my favorites, the colors are amazing and the designs are so unique! I love everything about it!
Supply List: patterned paper: Webster’s Pages; cardstock, chipboard stickers, epoxy sticker, washi tape, pen: American Crafts; letter stickers: Elle’s Studio; clear stickers: Simple Stories; puffy sticker: Evalicious; straws: Talking Tables; twine: The Twinery; paperclip: Xenos; file card: Jillibean Soup; digital cut file (title): Kerri Bradford; tag punch: Stampin’ Up; staples: Tim Holtz.
If you haven't checked out the new issue (#14) of CREATE Magazine as yet, it's definitely worth your while to hop over!!
Thank you so much for stopping by again today!

123 Jump - Scraptastic Club
Hi everyone! At the Scraptastic Club blog we have something new: a subscriber challenge! This is where the Scraptastic Club kit subscribers issue a challenge to the design team members. This is a fun one because the subscribers get to see projects specifically created for them. This month, the subscribers have challenged the designers to use multiple 4×6 photos! Obviously multiple 4×6 photos is 2 or more.
So let me show you mine. Normally I don’t scrap more than one 4×6 photo and when I use more than one photo they are always small ones. Really like how this turned out! I used June’s “Thinking Out Loud” main kit only, plus the stamps.
The “happy thoughts” sentiment I stamped straight onto the photo.
And a few close-ups of items from the main kit "Thinking Out Loud":
If you'd like to see the layouts from the other designers, then please hop over to the Scraptastic Club blog!
And last but not least my choice of this month's kit, Thinking Out Loud:

Get Wet - Imaginisce
Good morning everyone!! It's a sunny day here in The Netherlands and that calls for a sunny project! For Imaginisce I created this bright and sunny layout using their Family Fun collection once again. I so love the bright colors and the fun embellishments and when I saw these photos of my youngest the choice which collection to use was an easy one.
And how cute is this card?!
I also added some ribbon I had left from a swap with May Arts we once did. I used Imaginisce's wonderful I-Magicut - Ribbon Cutter and Sealer to cut and secure the ends of the ribbon.
I started with a digital background cut file from "Just Nic" (Stacked Rectangles Background) and adhered patterned paper behind it in different colors and patterns. Next I placed my photos on top and matted these with more patterned papers from the same collection. I always adhere my photos with just one single strip of double sided tape in the middle thus giving me the chance to place my embellishments behind them later on.
I've used both die-cuts and stickers to tuck behind my photos:

Here's how the ribbon looked beforehand:
Then I placed it inside the I-Magicut, closed the top and pressed the button a few seconds so the wire inside the tool would heat up and cut through my ribbon and sealing it at the same time:
And here's how it looked afterwards:
Amazing right?! I really love this tool! Whenever I use ribbons for my projects the I-Magicut is the first tool I grab.
Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, cardstock die-cuts, stickers (Family Fun); American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce I-Magicut Ribbon Cutter and Sealer. Other: Silhouette Cameo, digital cut files: background Nicole Nowosad, title: Kerri Bradford.
