Hello everyone, today I'm sharing another layout I created for Pretty Little Studio yet again featuring my sweet English Cocker Spaniel puppy. For this page I used the PLS Indian Summer collection. I adore the colors in this collection!!
I’m so happy Melissa decided to also print 12″x 12″ papers, like this gorgeous “Harvest Moon” paper. This paper practically scrapped itself. Except for the photo only some extra embellishments were needed to create a beautiful page, even the paint splatter is already printed on the paper! As I totally adored the gorgeous frames with the golden accents and those colorful vellum leaves, I definitely wanted to use those!
Aren’t those frames gorgeous?
Love the stitches in the vellum leaves!
On the circle I placed a few clusters with the vellum leaves and then added some cardstock die-cuts as well. For the right side of the photo I found the perfect journaling card and placed one of the beautiful frames underneath and another on top. I also added one of the die-cut words & a word sticker. (I really love everything in this collection!):
Love the camera on this card, so I didn’t want to cover it up.
Don’t you just love all the die-cuts in this collection?! The frames, the flowers, the words and that fox!
So many gorgeous die-cuts in this collection!
After writing a few lines of journaling and stamping the date twice my page was done! I ‘m really happy with the outcome, I hope you like it too!
Here’s what I used: Indian Summer collection: 8×8 paper pack; 12×12 paper: Harvest Moon; Journaling cards: Magic Days; Die-Cut Frames: Timeless; Die-Cuts: Indian Summer Leaves Vellum, Happy Place 2, Time Together; Stickers: All The Feel.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Wishing you a happy weekend!
xoxo

My Creative Scrapbook | November tutorial
Hi friends! For My Creative Scrapbook I created these two Fall layouts using the November Main Kit featuring the "Simple Vintage Autumn Splendor" collection from Simple Stories and one of the "free for members" November cut files, called "Autumn Days", designed by Ashley Horton (warning: photo overload!)
And here's how I created them. I started by gathering my supplies, both the kit and the wreath cut file:
I also got out a pot of gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. For almost a year now I have these Nuvo pots sitting in a drawer in my desk and today I decided to use the one with gold mousse.
Next I placed the wreath cut file on sheet of white cardstock and simply placed the cut file on top of it. Using a spatula I started applying the mousse over the cut file. I didn't adhere the cut file beforehand, because as soon as the first bit of mousse is applied the cut file is stuck to the page and won't move any more.
And this is how the negative looked:
A close-up of the cut file:
And a close-up of the negative:
Don't they both look awesome?!
Now I started to build the rest of my page. I chose a dark background cardstock for the gold wreath cut file and used just a little bit of adhesive to glue it to the cardstock as I didn't want to flatten the wreath:
Next came the photo of my English Cocker Spaniel pup and lots of embellishments (cardstock die-cuts and chipboards). I placed those on four points of my wreath: the photo on the right side and the embellishments at the top, bottom and left side:
After adding a bit of machine stitching I wrote a little bit of text with a white marker and also used the white marker to draw a line along the edges of the journaling card and my layout. Last but not least I added a few drops of white paint:
Here are a few more close-ups:
I also used the negative of the wreath cut file to create a layout. I'll quickly show you the layout and a few close-ups of this page as well. The photos are of my daughter who went to Iceland with her friends last year:
This is it! I hope you like them!

I didn't adhere the cut file beforehand, because as soon as the first bit of mousse is applied the cut file is stuck to the page and won't move any more.
I started at the top of the cut file and worked my way down. The more mousse you apply the more depth you'll get. What I like about it is that it stays in the shape it has been applied.
As soon as the cut file was completely covered in mousse I removed it from my cardstock background (before the mousse had dried). This is how it looked:

Merry Xmas | JustNick & Pretty Little Studio
Hello friends! Today I'm sharing an early Christmas layout. Although it's a little early to scrap Christmas layouts I just couldn't help myself. The first Christmas collections have arrived at my doorstep and I wanted nothing more than use them! So here's my first Xmas layout of the year! I used JustNick's "Radiate" cut file for this page. It's not one of the new cut files, but so perfect when you want to use many different papers.
This is the "Radiate" cut file I used:
I used the new Glitter & Ice collection from Pretty Little Studio for my page.
Here's how I created my page: using my Silhouette Cameo I cut the "Radiate" circle from a sheet of plain white cardstock and to cut the little parts for the inside of the cut file I released the compound path, deleted the outer and inner circle and selected approx. 6 of the pieces and restored the compound path. This I repeated 4 times and then the screen looked like this:
I selected four patterned papers from the Glitter & Ice collection and cut four 6"x 6" squares. I placed these on my sticky mat and cut all the inner pieces in one go. I adhered the white "Radiate" circle on a sheet of red cardstock and glued all the little parts randomly inside.
Next I arranged my three (matted) photos on the circle and embellished my page with several bits and pieces from the Glitter & Ice collection.
With a bit of machine stitching and ink splattering my page was done! Hope you like it!
If you're like me and have already started on your Christmas pages (or December Daily) then don't forget to take a look in the JustNick store! There are so many fun Christmas cut files!
Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you a fabulous weekend!

Feels Like Fall | Pink Paislee/Paige Evans
Here's a Fall layout I created for JustNick Studio using the beautiful new "Leaf Circle Background" cut file and the Truly Grateful collection from Pink Paislee/Paige Evans, combined with a few sheets from her Horizon collection. This cut file is so perfect for a Fall layout, when I saw it, I just had to use it! Here's what I made:
And this is the "Leaf Circle Background" cut file I used:
I cut the leaf circle from the multicolored sheet (Horizon, paper 3) and love the result, with all the leaves in different colors! Just like Fall, right?!
Except for the "Leaf Circle Background" cut file I used two other cut files: the "Feels Like Fall" cut file:
and the "Fall Leaves" cut file:
Fall is my favorite season and every year I'm so happy when it finally arrives. It goes without saying that I love all the Fall cut files and all the Fall scrapbook collections! Here are a few close-ups of my page:
To every cluster of leaves in the circle I added a few more embellishments and also some extra leaves. Some of the leaves I cut with my Silhouette and some of them are from the ephemera package from the Truly Grateful collection. I love all the die-cuts, cardstock stickers and puffy Thickers belonging to the Paige Evans collections and used many of them on my page!
I machine stitched a few of the leaves but not all of them as I really like it when they curl up a little. It gives a bit more depth to the page
I used two photos of my daughter, reading her book in the park. She's a huge fan of reading and always has one or two books with her, wherever she goes.
I hope I inspired you to scrap your Fall photos! So if you're looking for some fun Fall cut files as well you can find them in the JustNick store!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a wonderful day with lots of crafting!
