Ginny | Pretty Little Studio

Hello friends!! Today I've got another layout created with my current favorite Pretty Little Studio collection: Color Me Happy! I've tried something different this time, instead of a 12" x 12" layout I created an 8 1/2" x 11" layout and I think I really like it. Here's what I did:

I so love this photo of my furry baby girl. In this photo she is 8 months old and desperately in need of a grooming appointment and although the quality of the photo isn't the best, this captures just how she is.

I chose to scrap this photo with the Color Me Happy collection because of the bright green color of the grass. It's an exact match for the green in the collection. Apart from all the awesome colors in this collection I just adore all the fun die-cuts, stickers, designs, etc.!

Just look at these fun die-cuts, so awesome!!

And I love the large multi colored letters! The little bit of machine stitching is the perfect finishing touch.

I also love the strips of vellum washi tape that come with this collection!

Creating an A4 layout was really fun and I definitely will give this another try! What about you? Do you prefer 12" x 12" layouts or 8 1/2" x 11"? I would love to know!

Here’s a list of what I used for my layout: Color Me Happy collection: 12 x 12 paper pack, 8 x 8 paper pack; Die-Cuts: Over The Rainbow, Merry Go Round, Hear Me Roar, Bee Happy Alphas; Vellum Washi: Pop Blocks; Vellum: No Rain No Rainbows 8x8.

This is it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my page. Don’t forget to check out the Color Me Happy collection in the Pretty Little Studio store! Wishing you a happy day and stay safe!

Three My Mind's Eye layouts made with the April Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook

Hello friends! As I am still waiting for my May kit from My Creative Scrapbook to turn up (they are stuck in the mail somewhere between the USA and the Netherlands) I thought I would share the other three projects I created with the April Main kit. I love the My Mind's Eye "Gingham Garden" collection that was mainly featured in this kit.

Here's the first layout: "No Matter How Long The Winter, The Spring Is Sure To Follow". I used a photo of my with my two sons enjoying a stroll into the city centre after dinner where we bought an ice cream.

Here's the second layout I created: my men and I sitting on the sidewalk in Covent Garden, London.

And the third layout: these photos are from 2007, my youngest in his sleeping bag with his sleepy face. I really miss this time, when the kids were so small! Why do they have to grow up so fast!

For more information about this kit (and the other 3 kits of this month) please visit the My Creative Scrapbook website and if you want to see the photos of all the projects created by the design team with the various kits, please visit the Design Team Gallery.

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you a wonderful week!!

Hugs,
Monique

Love You Lots | Scrapbook.com NSD Challenge using Simple Stories Hip Hop Hooray

Hello friends! Just popping in real quick to share the layout I created for the iNSD challenge over at Scrapbook.com last weekend. I used the Hip Hop Hooray collection from Simple Stories and a digital cut file from Paige Evans.

Here's my page:

and a few close-up photos:

I really love this layout and I didn't even mean to buy this collection. When I went shopping at Scrapwereld in Almere I wanted to buy the I Am collection and the Best Year Ever, but when I saw this collection I just couldn't resist the beautiful color combination and all the fun designs.
I'm now so glad I bought it! Let's hope it brings me luck!

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you a wonderful week!

xoxo
