Readers Reveal Creative Scrappers!!!

Check it out here!!!! and scroll down a bit ..... did you??? If you did, then you would have seen this:

and a close-up of the tag:

The title means that Mats is not yet strong enough to squeeze the oranges all by himself... :(
Papers are from Jillibean Soup and the "orange" stamp is from myStampBOX (and is actually a flower, LOL, comes from the set called "Abundant Blossoms")

And the layout is based on this sketch from Jana Eubank:

If you want to see what the other "readers" did with the sketch, hop on over to the blog of the Creative Scrappers!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Love it!

My first post on myStampBOX!!!

Wohoo, my first post is up on myStampBOX!!!! I created a spring layout with these stamps "Abundant Flowers". I really love these stamps (I think I already told you in another post?) I use them on so many of my layouts and cards and other projects!!!

These are the stamps:

And here's my layout. I created the banner by stamping one of the flowers on different colors of cardstock and then cutting them up. To attach them to my page I used my sewing machine.

and some details:

even the grass on the side of the little gate is created with cut ups from the flowers!

and a close up from the banner....

Thanks for stopping by!! (and I LOVE comments!!)

Easter layout

Are you all enjoying your free Saturday???? I know I do!!! The sun is shining and I have time to scrap!! Yeah!

This week I finished this Easter layout I made with a sketch from the Creative Scrappers. The sketch is made by Zarah and because I love her sketches I decided to play! Here's the sketch:

and here's my take:
The papers, the corrugated letters, the journaling card, the butterfly stamp are all Jillibean, the flower & leave stamps are all myStampBOX and the tickers are from AC (of course).

(Sorry about the grease stains ..... I was in the process of preparing popcorn for my kids and wanted to do everything at the same time... very ME I'm afraid :))

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog!!
Have a lovely weekend!!

Inspired Blueprints #46

Yesterday we had a very early dinner because the kids had a soccer game. And you know what that meant??? That I had 3 hours to myself!!! well, except of course for Mats, he stayed home with me, but he's always so very sweet, playing by himself and not demanding my constant attention....

So I decided I had time for this sketch from Inspired Blueprints I had printed just in case....

Here's the sketch:
And here's my take on it:

And some details:
Love these papers from My Little Shoebox!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

A clown layout

As today it's Monday I have a new sketch from Liz!!!
I love sketches with 3 or more little photos!!
Here's my take on it:

Used Sassafras papers and I think Mats' photos fit best with these kind of papers...
If you like this sketch too, please join us at The Scrappiest!! Liz always has some fabulous prizes to win!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and hope to see you back soon!

Layout for the Creative Scrappers

Thursday there was a special sketch for the DT of the Nook at Creative Scrappers and because I loved what they did with it, I decided to use it for a layout too!
Here's the sketch:
And this is my take on it:

and the details:

I machine stitched a lot, because I love the effect ..... but my sewing machine didn't love it!!! My needle broke while stitching the title and when I had replaced it the tread broke because of all the layers.... but I did finish it in the end! And of course I used the latest kit from the Nook!

Maybe you've noticed I used some pages from a cook book.... that's because I made this layout for one of the challenges from the VC (virtual crop) at the Nook, which started yesterday. This runs until Sunday midnight (american time) so if you have some spare time this weekend and feel like scrapping.... please join us!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!! (I'm off scrapping!!)

Prima workshop

Yesterday Mieke and I attended a Prima workshop (together with Mieke) at Papers & Pictures in Doorn given by the talented Tracy Hudson from Prima's DT (you HAVE to check out her blog!!). We had lots of fun and created these two beautiful layouts:

Can't believe it.... 2 layouts with my own photo in it!!! Even so, I love them both!

Thanks for looking and see you soon!

Made a fun card for MyStampBOX

Last week Jolene from myStampBOX challenged us to create a card (or layout) using grey paired with our favorite bright colors and this is what I made:

And these are the stamps I used:
The set is called "Abundant Blossoms" and they are so versatile! Recently I created a layout for my post on the mSB blog (end of April) and found there are many other ways to use them!! Show you later!

Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to see you soon!

Challenge on Nikki Sivils' blog!

I've been scrapping a lot these last few days, but I can't show you everything yet (keep your eyes on the Creative Scrappers' blog!) .... but this one I can!!

Have you seen there's a March challenge going on at Nikki Sivils' blog??? This month it's a sketch challenge and of course I had to participate!! (love sketches and LOVE Nikki's papers!!).

Here it is:
And here's my take on it. I used papers from "U R my Favorite" and "My Sweet Cherry Pie".

And a few close-ups:

Thanks for looking a hope to see you again sometime!

A new sketch from Liz!!

Last Monday it was time for Liz' new sketch at The Scrappiest! (because of our 2nd Easter Day I got the days mixed up and thought it was Sunday instead of Monday... and now I'm late showing it... sorry!).

Because the sketch is rather "basic" I used a diecut sheet (Pink Paislee - Nook March kit) for the background. The rest of the layout I kept "quiet" too (although if you have a look at my original layout on the blog of The Scrappiest, you'll notice I added something AGAIN!.... sorry, can't help myself!)

And the details (with a much better color, because I took this photo much later in the day than the other photo)

Hope I have inspired you to join us this week!! If you do you'll have a chance to win a kit from "Paper Poppy Kit Co"!!! So what are you waiting for?! Get scrapping!!!!
Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to see you back soon!
Big hug, Monique

BLOG HOP AT MYSTAMPBOX!!!

If you arrived here through the {MyStampBOX} blog hop, WELCOME!!!!

I'm so happy to be one of the new Design Team members for the coming 6 months!!

My stamps arrived a few days ago; just in time to create this little Easter card for you.

I used stamps from both "Abundant Blossoms" (the flowers and the leaves) & "En Cette Occasion" (the sentiment); aren't they lovely???! The papers are from Jillibean Soup and Bazzill Basics. The stems from the flowers were crocheted by my son!!

There's more to come from me this month, but you will have to be patient just a little longer.... :) Every day of the week there will be an inspirational post on the blog of {MyStampBOX} by a different DT member. My turn is on 27th of April!! Can't wait!!!

Hope to see you again sometime!
Hugs, Monique
