Thursday there was a special sketch for the DT of the Nook at Creative Scrappers and because I loved what they did with it, I decided to use it for a layout too!

I machine stitched a lot, because I love the effect ..... but my sewing machine didn't love it!!! My needle broke while stitching the title and when I had replaced it the tread broke because of all the layers.... but I did finish it in the end! And of course I used the latest kit from the Nook!
Maybe you've noticed I used some pages from a cook book.... that's because I made this layout for one of the challenges from the VC (virtual crop) at the Nook, which started yesterday. This runs until Sunday midnight (american time) so if you have some spare time this weekend and feel like scrapping.... please join us!!!!

ReplyDeleteHij is supergaaf geworden! En alle stiksel staat prachtig...vooral zo door die letters heen. Het mag dan met pijn en moeite zijn gegaan; het resultaat is wel prachtig:)

ReplyDeleteOohhh, I should get my sewing machine out of the closet...!!! LOVE your layout. And the page from your cookbook - oh my - I LOVE "Indische spekkoek"... did you make it? (It takes a lot, A LOT of time but it taste delicious!!!)
