One Fall Day!

In de kerstvakantie ben ik lekker bezig geweest om stapels, zelfs kisten vol layouts op te bergen.... Ik heb albums gemaakt voor de elk kind, ieder zijn of haar eigen kleur en voor mezelf natuurlijk ook. Alles is op chronologische volgorde opgeborgen, wat nog een hele klus was want niet op elke layout had ik de datum geschreven (hoe kan je zo dom zijn!).

Het leuke van de opruimsessie was, dat ik ook allemaal layouts tegen kwam die ik allang vergeten was en zelfs niet op mijn blog heb laten zien. Zoals bijvoorbeeld deze layout, over de dag dat Pat en ik 15 jaar getrouwd waren:

Last week I spent my time well ... you know what I did? I put my hundreds of layouts in albums! I had them lying around the house for ages; piling up in my bookcases, stacked in boxes ... and now they sit in brand new albums, chronologically organized and every child has his/her own albums in their own colors. Manon chose red ones, Tim black and Mats brown and I have green albums. The only downside of this system is that it became very clear whose photos I scrap  most ... Manon's! No surprise there I guess. 

I used the D-ring albums from American Crafts ... I really think they are the best! It's so easy to add pages and change the order. I've even emptied some of the older albums (not D-ring) and switched them for the new ones! I'm so proud of myself when I look at my neatly organized rows of albums!  

And you know what was so fun about this excersize? That I found quite a few layouts I had totally forgotten about! Like this one about the day my hubby and I were married for 15 years! Can't believe I just put it on the "done" pile and forgot it!
