You Are The Sweetest || Step-by-step tutorial for My Creative Scrapbook

Hello friends! I'm here today with another step-by-step tutorial I wrote for one the layouts I created for the kit club My Creative Scrapbook with the awesome March Creative Kit. I adore the Kid at Heart collection from Pebbles Inc. that is included in this kit. A few years ago I was on the DT of Pebbles Inc, so this kit was right up my alley!

This is the layout for which I wrote my step-by-step instructions:

As usual I started with displaying the contents of the kit on my work surface. All the sheets are double sided and I had a hard choosing which side to use. And this kit contains so many embellishments!!

For the background of my layout I chose the "Scatter Happiness" paper and applied a layer of white gesso on top, using one of the hotel cards I never throw away:

In my stash I keep an old book from which I use the pages for my layouts (I had a few copies of this book so I had no difficulty tearing this one up).

I tore out approx. six sheets and using a heart punch I punched rows of hearts from the six sheets in one go:

Using the negatives of my punching exercise and my sewing machine I stitched the strips of book paper on my layout:

I cut one of this month's free cut files (called Flower Cluster) twice from one of the patterned papers, called "Get Your Happy On" and placed one on the right side of my page and one on the left side:

I matted the photo of my son sitting on a sleigh in the snow looking up at me and placed this on cut out flowers on my layout:

Now I had the difficult task to find the right embellishments in this enormous pile of super cute die-cuts (I wanted to use them all!):

When I had finished adding my embellishments I wrote a few lines of journaling and I was done!

I really love the result! Hope you do too! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope I've been able to inspire you to give this kit a try (don't forget to share if you do!)!

Here's a photo of the March Creative Kit I used:

Together | JustNick & Pebbles Inc.

Hi friends! For my turn on JustNick's blog I created this layout using the brand new "Heart Ring" cut file.

This is the cut file I used (I'll add the link to the cut file in the store later):

I love using background cut files on my pages as they are so very versatile! This time I chose to cut the file from a sheet of patterned paper and also filled some of the open hearts with patterned paper.

I used Pebbles "Loves Me" collection, which I totally adore. Look at all those super cute animals!

Before I adhered the cut file I stamped a light chevron pattern on my white cardstock background paper using a stamp from Prima Marketing.

When my page was almost done I machine stitched both parts of the heart ring cut file as well as in some random places.

I couldn't resist adding a few bits and pieces from Doodlebug Design like the red matte sprinkles, the piece of  "love" washi tape and the enamel rainbow. The word sticker at the bottom of the photo is from Crate Paper.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out all the inspiration on our blog. Don't forget to visit the JustNick store to see all the other awesome cut files!

Wishing you a wonderful week!

My Creative Scrapbook August Creative Kit Step-By-Step | Pebbles Inc

Hi friends, today I'm sharing one of the layouts I created with the fun August Creative kit from My Creative Scrapbook. I really loved this kit, filled with the "Oh Summertime" collection from Pebbles Inc.

Here's the layout I made:

The photo I used is from our summer vacation in the south of France two years ago. I just love that this kit is also perfect to scrap boys photos!

Here's another little step-by-step of how I created this layout. I arranged everything I thought I would need on my desk:

I chose a sheet of white American Crafts cardstock for the background and selected the die cuts with a straight left side.

Next I adhered the die cuts with the straight sides on the left side of my background:

When I was happy how it looked I filled the gaps with other die cuts, such as the lemon, the sun, the flip flops and the boys:

I found the white background too white so I decided to add a little color. I selected a yellow ink pad and used a piece of packaging plastic to transfer the ink from the ink pad on to my paper:

Now it was time to arrange the photos on my layout. First I adhered them on a piece of patterned paper and then I added a few die cuts and only then did I place this cluster on my layout:

For the title I used the blue glitter Thickers that were included in the kit. Below the title I wrote a bit of journaling:

After adding some machine stitching and stamping the date I was done! Hope you like it! Here are a few close-ups of the finished page:

My Creative Scrapbook August Kits Reveal

Hello friends! It's the 5th of the month and that means it's reveal day at My Creative Scrapbook! This month I received two kits again: the Main kit and the Creative kit. The Main kit includes the Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse collection and the Creative kit the Pebbles Inc collection Oh Summertime.

Here's one of the layouts I created with the August Main kit and one of the free MCS cut files:

Instead of cutting this cut file I used the sketchpen to draw the cut file and with some water color paint I colored all the letters. When the paint had dried I added a few stickers and die-cuts:

And this is the photo of the August Main Kit:

And next a layout made with the August Creative Kit, featuring the Pebbles Oh Summertime collection.

And a few close-ups:

In the kit there's a set of Thickers included and I just selected a lot of letters from all the different words and expressions to form the title of this page.

And here's a photo of the August Creative kit:

For more information about the kits please visit the website of My Creative Scrapbook and if you want to see all the projects created with this month's kits, please visit the DT gallery

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I really appreciate it if you're still making the effort, lol!

Happy scrapping and till next time!
