Bella Blvd Campout Collection - Scraptastic Store!

Today I'm sharing two Bella Blvd projects (well, actually four, but who’s counting, lol) I created for the Scraptastic Store.

I’m a huge fan of Bella Blvd and am so lucky Jessica has a lot of their collections in the Scraptastic Store! I love the bright colors and the fun designs of their collections and I have always loads of photos I want to scrap using Bella Blvd’s product.

Here’s a layout I created recently. The photo is of my youngest and was taken last May when we visited my daughter in Louisiana. The colors of the photos were just perfect for the Campout collection. Btw, the wood grain paper is actually the B-side of the cover sheet of the collection kit. Isn’t it awesome?!

Love the cute animals!!

And I’m so happy the collection kit always contains alpha stickers!

Supplies: Bella Blvd Campout Collection: Bella Blvd – Campout – Collection Kit; Bella Blvd- Campout – Daily Details Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – Borders Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – In The Woods Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – Chipboard Icons; Bella Blvd – Campout – Trinket Stickers; Bella Blvd – Campout – Treasures & Text Stickers; Bella Blvd – Campout – Clear Cuts – Arrows Transparency.

And next I’ve got a couple of cards for you. I love to create 3″ x 3″ cards, because they are perfect to attach to a bunch of flowers. In The Netherlands it’s very customary to bring flowers with you when you visit someone and it’s always nice to add a wish to it. These little cards you just adhere to a stem of a flower with ie a piece of twine.

The images come from the Daily Details sheet and measure 2″ x 2″, so they are exactly the right size for my 3″ x 3″ cards!

Supplies: Bella Blvd Campout Collection: Bella Blvd – Campout – Collection Kit; Bella Blvd- Campout – Daily Details Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – In The Woods Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – Go Jump In The Lake Paper; Bella Blvd – Campout – Clear Cuts – Arrows Transparency.

This was it! Hope I’ve given you some ideas for this Bella Blvd collection! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!

Vacation - Pretty Little Studio

I totally forgot to share this layout I created for Pretty Little Studio, another 8.5” x 11” layout. The more I use this format for my pages, the more I love it. In the photo you see my two eldest kids having a great time in sunny Greece.

The Treasure Island collection is fabulous for the many summer vacation pics I have! Especially since my kids always wear (very) bright colored clothes in the summer which coordinate just perfectly with the colors of this collection!

And don’t you just adore that large gold ampersand?! I get so happy when I look at all the yummieness in this collection!

Pretty Little Studio Supplies: Treasure Island Collection: Patterned Paper: Treasure Island 8×8 Pack, Castaway Sea Metallic Copper, Buccaneer, Ship Deck, Pirates Journal, Walk The Plank, Smooth Sailing Metallic Gold, Rogue Beach, Flair: Happy Journey; Diecuts: Arrow Adventure, Out To Sea Clouds; Butterscotch Duck; Word Art: Vacation; Gold Metallic & Cut-Outs: Sail Away Mini Bingo.

Did you see Melissa is looking for two new design team members?! If you're interested, here's the link for more information

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!! I hope you are enjoying the hop sofar!

I've created 2 fun summery coffee cards for this hope, both using Imaginisce papers from the Family Fun & Hearland Farm collections and coffee stamps from Stampin' Up! As for the summer theme, I chose to go with sunny colors - lots of bright yellows and reds!

Here's what I did:

the large card measures 6"x 4":

and the small one 3"x 3":

I colored both stamps with Copic Markers, which I hadn't used in a long long time! Loved creating these cards ... now who will I send them to?!

Pretty Little Studio's June Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! Here’s my take on this month’s Pretty Little Studio's sketch. Although I really loved the sketch I struggled quite a bit with it. I started with a 12”x 12” sheet of white cardstock and placed lots of squares on it, but decided quite quickly that I didn’t like the result. So I tried a different format and cut my cardstock to 8.5”x 11” and tried the squares again. This time it looked much better and I decided to go with this take on the challenge. However, when I was done I still wasn’t completely satisfied with the end result and placed the 8.5”x 11” layout on a 12”x 12”white cardstock sheet. And this looked so much better. I added a few strips of paper along the sides and I was done! Love how this turned out!

Love the metallic foiled papers and vellums in this collection sooooo much!!

And then there are lots of super cute die-cuts in this collection....

Another Scraptastic Janglin' layout - SNAPSHOTS

I had so super much fun playing with the May Janglin' kit, the Janglin' add-on and the Janglin' Stamp Set from Scraptastic!! For this layout I imported the image of the Janglin' stamps in my Silhouette Cameo and created a hearts cut file, a "snapshots" cut file and a "the little things" cut file. I enlarged the hearts cut file so I could use it as a background:

This is the stamp set I used: I just opened this image in my Silhouette, traced the images I wanted and then cut them.

Here are a few more close-ups:

I also used the printables that came with this kit: the rainbow strip is a printable and ....

... the love circle is a printable.

I adore the Pinkfresh Studio goodies in this kit, like the puffy hearts and wood dots.

Father's Day Card and Treat Bag - Imaginisce

For now I thought I would share a quick Father's Day card and Father's Day treat bag. Both were created using Imaginisce's "Family Fun" collection and a little bit of the "Heartland Farm" collection. For the designs I used cut files from the Silhouette store.

Here they are:

For the "dad" card I used design #27523 from the Silhouette store and the papers: Imaginisce Family Fun: fun matinee (yellow), kiddie pool (green) and Good Times (blue). The stars were punched from scraps lying on my table.

Then the "Dad" Treat Bag. Here I used design #61589 (Dad Mustache Treat Bag). A simple design and thus perfect for my dad, who is allergic to anything with frills or fuss!

For the base of the treat bag I used Imaginisce's Heartland Farm Meadow paper and for the mustache Imaginisce's Family Fun Kiddie Pool paper. The letters are Thickers from American Crafts.

The only "frilly" element in these projects is the piece of ribbon which I couldn't resist. It's from a swap with May Arts we once did and I love the colors and the fabric. I used Imaginisce's I-Magicut - Ribbon Cutter and Sealer to cut and secure the ends of the ribbon.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper (Family Fun and Heartland Farm). American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce I-Magicut Ribbon Cutter and Sealer. Other: Silhouette Cameo.
