Pinterest Inspired - Scraptastic Club Feels Like Home kit

Hey everyone! Last Monday Victoria and I had a Pinterest inspired post on the Scraptastic Blog. In case you haven't seen it I'm sharing here it too.

This is the Pinterst pin we chose:

Here’s what I did with this image, using the November Feels Like Home kit and add-on and a photo of my hubby and I in Venice, Italy, last month:

I was inspired by the size of the ampersand from the Pinterest image and decided I wanted to use one large ampersand on my layout as well. I used the Feels Like Home cut file with all the ampersands and cut only one from this (I might have had a little help there, lol. Thanks Daniela!).

The “you & me” journaling card (a Scraptastic exclusive) and the sheet of patterned paper with all the ampersands (also a Scraptastic exclusive) was just perfect for my page!

And I just love the Pink Paislee puffy stickers and wanted to include those too:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a fab day!
Hugs,
Monique

Pebbles Winter Wonderland - Guest Designing!

Hi everyone, here I am again, with some fun projects I created for Pebbles with their beautiful Winter Wonderland collection. I adore the colors of this collection and I love all the glitter accents!

For yesterday's blog post at Pebbles' blog I created a layout and two cards. As I really love those huge glitter die-cut snowflakes I decided I wanted to create projects showcasing those. Here's what I did for my layout:

I started this page by cutting huge snowflakes out of a sheet of white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo:

Next I chose the sheet of patterned paper with the little white dots on it, which kind of gives the impression it snows on this paper and adhered it behind my cardstock:

The 4 beautiful glitter die-cut snowflakes came next:

Using 5 different patterned papers I created a horizontal strip for my photo:

Which I then adhered more or less in the middle of my page:

Choosing which embellishments I should use came next. This was rather difficult as there are so many fun die-cuts to choose from. This is what's in the "Chips" bag:

I always make sure I glue my papers and photo only in the middle so I'll be able to tuck in lots of embellishments later on, like I did here:

Last but not least I added a little journaling and a title and I was done! Hope you like it! And here are a few close-ups of my page. Aren't the snowman and fox the cutest?

Supplies:

Winter Wonderland Chips Ephemera w/Glitter Die-Cut Shapes SKU: PBWW-733028
Winter Wonderland Glitter Stickers Icons SKU: PBWW-733019

Next I created these two cards, which measure 6" x 6" each.

I always love combining different patterns and so that's what I did. I started with the darker pattern, which measures 5.5" x 5.5". Next I added a lighter color on top, measuring 5" x 5" and for the "Hot Chocolate" card I even added another layer, measuring 4.5" x 4.5". The machine sewing came next (before adhering everything to my cardstock base), followed by the horizontal strips of paper and again a bit of sewing. On top I added a little kraft bag, a glitter die-cut snowflake and a little card, which I cut from the "Snowfun" paper.

A detail photo of the "Hello There" card:

December Daily & some Planner Love | Pretty Little Studio

I finally found the time to create the first page of my December Daily!! It's also up on Pretty Little Studio's blog today! Have you all got started on your December Daily’s yet? I didn’t as we had so much going on during the first few days of December, but as of now my weeks are quiet and I plan to catch up quickly! Here’s the first page of my December album, using the fabulous Merry & Bright collection from Pretty Little Studio:

The two text squares at the top of my page are actually cut from a clear sheet ... awesome, right?? Pretty Little Studio designed a whole lot of them (I counted 56! different sheets)! Have a look here. And aren’t those die-cuts faulous?!

Pretty LIttle Studio products I used: Merry & Bright collection: paper: Wishes Green, Trifle; Clear: Be Merry; Die-Cuts: Fir Tree mini, Snowman #5 mini, Twenty-Five Gold Metallic; Number Tags: Fruit Cake; Clear Word: Christmas.

And because I was really having fun with this collection, I thought I'd do a week in my planner as well! How I love to decorate my planner, although I have to take care not to decorate too much as I do need room to write something down! Here’s what I did

The mini die-cuts are so perfect for planners!! and I love to add little strips of vellum and a few of those cut-out words.

PLS products used: Merry & Bright collection: Die-Cuts: Fir Tree mini, Candle Shoppe mini, Christmas Town 4″, Jingle mini, Snowman #6 mini, Twinkle mini; Number Tags: Fruit Cake; Clear Word: Magical; Cut-Aparts: Mini Words Merry; Vellum Tape: Be Good.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
