St. Patrick's Day in Planner | Doodlebug

A quick share of my Doodlebug Pot O' Gold collection planner pages. Although we don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day that doesn't mean I can't decorate the week with St. Patrick's Day in it, right?

I soooo adore those fun stickers!!

The horizontal stripes are stickers are from the sheet of "Fancy Frills" stickers and the rainbow sticker I just cut in half and adhered it on both pages:

And last but not least, I used some washi tape and a large paperclip to create some kind of bookmark:

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Doodlebug Sweet Things Projects | Wood Veneer Heart and Planner Pages

Hi everyone! Yesterday my Doodlebug "Sweet Things" projects were posted on Doodlebug's blog and I thought I'd share them here too. If you know me a little bit, you'll know that my favorite color is red and my favorite color combination is red with pink (with sometimes a bit of orange and yellow). And that's one of the reasons why I adore this collection so much! The colors are awesome and I can see myself using this collection over and over again.

Here's the first project I created: I dressed up this wood veneer heart which I had in my stash waiting for the right collection to come along .... ! The photos were taken in June last year, when we hosted a "welcome home" party for my daughter, who had been away in The States for almost a year. We set up this little photo booth and everyone at the party had to have their photo taken. We had so much fun!

I used lots of different patterned papers, (alphabet) stickers, die-cuts & enamel dots. I love that the sprinkles (dots) are "matte"!

But the shiny heart shaped sprinkles are just perfect too! I also love that jar-with-hearts sticker and had to include it on my project somewhere.

And because at the time I kept thinking I'm never going to let her leave again, especially for such a long stretch of time, I chose the "we belong together" sticker.

And then my second project: a week in my planner! Have you been bitten by the planner bug too? For me it took a while but now I love working on my planner. I just have to be careful not to cover the entire pages, but to leave some space to write notes!

Here's my spread for the Valentine's week: February 8 - 14:

I used papers, stickers, die-cuts, alphabet stickers, washi tapes, a mini paperclip, a mini clothpin, I just couldn't choose and decided to use the lot!

The little squares are cut from the "Tiny Valentines" sheet (6x6 paper pad) and are the perfect size for a planner.

For the word "Valentines" I used the Skinny alphabet stickers and for the word "day" I used some Tiny Type alphabet stickers.

The "Happy Hearts", "Delightful Dots" and "Lovely Lines" washi tapes in the Sweet Things collection are just what any planner needs!

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog and I hope I've been able to inspire you a bit!

Planner Love | Pretty Little Studio

Hi everyone! Happy Friday to you!! Today I'm up on Pretty Little Studio's blog featuring their “Planner Stickers” and how I love those!! I use two planners: my Webster's Color Crush planner for my “everyday” appointments and my Happy Planner from Mambi (Me and My Big Ideas) for my scrapbook dates (design team deadlines, blog hops, giveaways, etc. ). Some of the events end up in both planners, like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas and in this case our Anniversary. My hubby and I got married on August 12, 1996 (chosen by my husband because 12 times 8 = 96) and so for today I chose to use the “You & Me” collection to decorate week 32 (August 8-14).

PLS Product used: You & Me Collection: paper: Heartstrings; Die-cuts: Conversation Hearts, My Wedding Day; Word Art: Anniversary 7″, Love Story; Stickers: Cupid’s Arrow, True Love Gold Flags, Sweetheart Gold, Valentine Stamps, Valentine Words, Christmas Word Flags; Cut-Outs: Adore You Phrase Strips.

I love that Melissa created so many stickers which can be used in planners! If you want to see the entire assortment of planner stickers, just go to the PLS shop and click on “Categories” and next on “Planner Stickers“. Awesome right?? I used quite a lot of them and would love to use even more of them if only I wouldn’t need some space to write down some notes too, lol!

For the horizontal strips I used the paper with all the hearts (Heartstrings) from which I cut strips of 1 cm (less than 0.5″). I really love that paper! And I’ve been wanting to use the large die-cut of the bride and groom for forever but before now I never had the right photos or occasion. So happy I can use it now!

I also love to add little touches of gold, like I did here. And isn’t that large word die-cut just right for that margin??

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my project!
Hugs,
Monique

Sisters | Me & My Big Ideas | Stuck?! Sketches

Today I thought I'd join in the sketch challenge from "Stuck?! Sketches". I chose this photo of my daughter with one of her best friends and host sister, taken last March in the US when my dd was living there. My dd had such a great time staying with this sweet girl that I just had to scrap this photo.

I used lots of Mambi products for this page. Love all the small tidbits they sell for planners, which are perfect for layouts as well, look:

Aren't those papers with the gold foil accents from the "Gold Rush" paper pad awesome?! I combined them with bright colored Project Life cards from the "Story Of Me" package.

And those puffy stickers are so fun! I could use them everywhere on my page. The title is a cut file from Kerri Bradford.

The deer is actually from Maya Road. It had been lying on my desk for ages and just asked to be used.

The tag was made using a punch from Stampin! Up.

And this is the sketch I used:

If you want to play too, just hop over to the Stuck?! Sketches blog. You have until August 29 to play.
