INKIDO time again!

I have two Inkido layouts to share with you. They are both about my youngest, as I have tons of photos of him waiting to be scrapped.
They are both made with Inkido's "Is This Love?" line.

"Precious":

And a few close-ups of the charm, the frame diecut, the flowers and the butterfly stamp. Aren't they all wonderful?

And here's the other one "Love U": last year, during one of our stays in some hotel, we had a bed with 6 huge pillows and two huge "covers/quilts" on our bed. Our youngest (who just turned 5 years old) had to sleep in our bed and almost got lost in it!!

a few close-ups of the title and the beautiful flowers (made the flags myself ...)

and a close-up of the ribbon and the butterfly charm:

And a close-up of 2 (of the 4) epoxy Epiphany Crafts hearts I used on this page. So so so love those tools!!

If you want to see more Inkido projects, please visit their blog!! It's filled with so many adorable projects from all their wonderful designers!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and hope you enjoyed my projects.

Inkido layouts!

Hi everyone!

Are you enjoying the weekend as much as I'm doing??? I loved the sunny and warm weather yesterday! Spring is finally here! Hope it's here to stay!

And talking about Spring.... I was so happy that a few weeks ago my Inkido box arrived, filled with the new Spring products!!!! My favorite collection (but they are all gorgeous!) is this one "Forever" and then especially the papers with the butterflies! Look:

I used this line for a photo I have of my mother with my youngest son. It's a photo I treasure and therefore just perfect for these papers!

And here's a layout made with the other new lines "Rosehage" and "Is This Love?".

I know, I know.... Valentine's Day is long over, but I had these photos lying on my desk and they begged me to be scrapped.... so I did. A page about my husband not liking Valentine's Day very much. He says it was invented for commercial purposes (and maybe he's right), but as the kids and I do like this day very much we gave him this heart made of flowers and pine cones. And of course he loved his present!

Some close-ups of Inkido's wonderful butterfly stamps, flowers, ribbon and diecut frame. This frame is originally white, but I glimmermisted it and then stamped on it with the text stamp "Old Love Letter".

Materials I used: Patterned paper: "Rosehage" line and a bit of "Is This Love?", furthermore red cardstock, flowers, stamps, ribbon, and a diecuts frame.

Almost everything I used is from the new Spring collection. If you want to see the new collection, have a look HERE!!!

This is it! I wish you a sunny Sunday and hope to see you back soon!!

SONshine!

I love this photo of Mats and me (on the beach near San Diego), but what always bothered me is that the sea isn't "straight". So this photo would be picked  up and laid down again, until this time I decided not to worry so much and just scrap it!

Here it is:

A while ago I won the challenge over at American Crafts and I got to choose one of their lines. I chose Dear Lizzy Enchanted and I love it! Here are some close ups:

And guess what I bought last week???? Yes! Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors!!!

This layout was created for The Scrappiest, using sketch # 106!!

2 new INKIDO layouts!

Last Saturday was my "Inkido Day" and that meant that I could show my 2 new layouts on their blog!

Here's the first:

A layout about my youngest during our holiday in Denmark last summer. Here he seems very happy, but he had a few days that he wasn't feeling very well as from day 1 of our holidays he had chicken-pox :-(.

A few close ups:

Materials I used: Patterned Paper: Drömmar Ruta Bla, Autumn Wardrobe (Tailored Stripes), Mathea (Coral), Apples (Red Delicious and Cox Orange), a stamp, charms, flowers, ribbons and a tag, everything from Inkido. Furthermore I used a red ink pad and some spray ink. Tools: Martha Stewart punch, Epiphany Crafts Stuido Tool Round 14, sewing machine, white pen and stapler.

And here's my other layout:

Again about my youngest. This time during a holiday in Greece (aren't we globe trotters??? LOL). After a day playing on the beach and at the pool he was so tired that he fell asleep in his swimming toys! Isn't he sweet?!

A few close ups:

The buttons are made with the tools from Epiphany Crafts and the bear and the blocks I cut with my Slice.

Materials I used: Patterned Paper: Ladybug and Friends (Little Things), Apples (Golden Delicious, Red Delicious and Astrakan), Drömmat Ruta Beige, Autumn Wardrobe (Tailored Stripes), brown cardstock, white corrugated cardboard, flowers, ribbon, a butterfly charm and a text and flower stamp. Apart from these materials from Inkido I used some spray ink and stamping ink, my sewing machine, Slice, Epiphany Crafts tools, a stapler and a pen.

I sooooo LOVE the products from Inkido!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for the sweet comments you always leave! They are much appreciated!!

Crop Addict December 2010 kit layouts

These last days have been so terribly hectic! It was like a madhouse! I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking of all the things I still have to do!! but luckily I got the 4 projects for Crop Addict finished in time!! These projects are all created with the December 2010 Monthly Scrapbooking Kit!

1. Home is where the tree is:

the ornaments on the tree were created with the shape tool from Epiphany Crafts:
Used the shape tool from Epiphany Crafts to create the ornaments:

2. Christmas Dinner / Kerstdiner

Used my button studio tool from Epiphany Crafts to create the buttons:

3. So Fun:

and a close up of the button (guess what I used to make it?):

4. Two Christmas tags:

I just love working with this kit!! and if you want to see what the other designers made, then please visit the gallery!!

This morning I attended the Sinterklaas party at Mats' school. It's so much fun to see all the kids full of anticipation and a little nervous. Some of the kids were wearing Sinterklaas or "black Piet" outfits, but not Mats :-(. They started the morning in their own class, where they rehearsed a song and then after the arrival of the "Sint" the kids went to the gymnastics hall where the acutal party was going to be. I loved being part of this!!

Last year Mats wanted to dress up for the sinterklaas party at school, but this year he thought that the hat was enough!

Mats (right) and his friends.... they look like villains!!

Only two more nights and then ..... presents!!!

Fijn weekend allemaal!!

Sketch #87 The Scrappiest!

As it's Monday I can show you Liz' new sketch and my layout based on it!

The layout:

A while ago I decided to print all my favorite photos of Mats' first year (age 0 - 1) and these are two of them (I had about 1,000 photos printed, LOL). Here Mats is hugging his favorite bear (... but a bit too enthusiastic and he "fell" forward and couldn't get up anymore.... so sweet.)

A few close-ups. The papers I used here are from the Nook kit. Lots of Lily Bee!! Love those papers. Do you see the clouds?? Those are actually a cut up flower. Nice huh?

Here's the sketch:

Loved this sketch! Thanks Liz!! If you want to see what the other design team members made, hop on over to the The Scrappiest blog. If you decide to create a layout using the sketch, don't forget to link it to Mr Linky because maybe you'll win that fabulous kit from the Scrapbook Circle!
