Scrap The Boys October challenge | Doodlebug Hello

Hi friends!! TGIF! Sooo happy that Friday has arrived, my day off from work! I started the day early with an hour aqua jogging and although I didn't really wanted to go I'm so glad I did! It really feels good, starting the day with a bit of working out. 

After I got home I grabbed a coffee and finished this page. I often visit the Scrap The Boys blog, but it has been ages and ages that I had time to play. When I saw this month's challenge (a mood board challenge) I immediately thought of Doodlebug's Hello collection, lying beside my desk, waiting to be used. Sooo, here's what I did:

I scrapped a photo of my eldest son, taken on vacation in France quite some years ago (I now realize I forgot to add the date to my page!). I totally adore this photo and this Doodlebug collection and am so happy I stumbled upon the Scrap The Boys challenge. I'm sure otherwise I wouldn't have taken the time to create this page.

A new layout, new awards and new prizes!

This morning I felt like scrapping and when I saw the new challenge on "Scrap the boys" I decided on that one (I never seem to scrap "just for me" anymore....I'm hooked on challenges!). The layout had to contain a photo involving food and in the title you had to use a cooking term....(while typing this I start to doubt whether bite, dribble and spit are cooking terms....more eating terms??? nah, I think it's ok). I had a funny photo of Timothy and decided to use it. Furthermore I used the July kit from the Nook: BG Lemonade.

Scrap the Boys

Tja, en wat doe je als je opeens 5 "vrije" ochtenden erbij hebt? Dan ga je surfen op het net en vind je nog meer leuke challenge blogs.... tenminste dat is wat ik doe! Zo vond ik deze "Scrap the Boys" site en omdat de januari challenge me wel aansprak heb ik maar gelijk mee gedaan. De challenge was een layout maken waarbij je je laat inspireren door de nieuwe blog "banner".

And because of all the spare time I have (with Mats going to school too) I found another amazing blog with challenges..... This time an "boys only" blog, it's called "Scrap the Boys". So I did! The January challenge was to create a page inspired by the new blog banner....
