Love this - Imaginisce

For today I've got an Imaginisce layout to share, again created with the "Perfect Vacation" collection (can't get enough of this collection!) and I've also pulled out my Gelatos ... love those more and more!

I've also used my Silhouette Cameo, can't imagine a layout without using cut files anymore.

These files are from "Scrapbook and Cards Today" (sketchy circles), the Cut Shoppe (love this card) and from the Silhouette shop - Loni Stevens #30791 (hahaha).

Where ever you go - Imaginisce

When browsing through the Disneyland photos from 2006 yesterday, I came across this one and went "ohhhh and ahhhh, look how little and cute Manon was then" ... so I printed it off and scrapped it straight away. Imaginisce's "Little Princess" collection was made for it!

The text cutfile on the right side was made by me for Amanda Robinson Studio and can be downloaded for free from her website.

A few close-ups of my page:

The 6x6 paper pad is just perfect for the strips I adhered behind the cut file!

Love this princess collection!

And don't forget to hop over to Amanda Robinson Studio for your free cut file:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having an awesome weekend!! I leave you with an impression of your hot summer days:

On Amanda's blog we're having "five days of freebies" for you based on five fun themes that are just perfect for your summer pages and projects.

For the 2nd day I created some fun cut files too and made this layout with them (the word "always"  and the "always frame":

and some close-ups:

A hot summer's day! - Pretty Little Studio

For today’s OTB at Pretty Little Studio I pulled out the new Marigold collection that had just arrived at my doorstep. When I saw the photo inspiration for today, I knew I wanted to scrap this photo of my kids on the beach. As they never ever sit still, this photo is rather unique!

The soft yellow colors of the Marigold collection were just what this photo needed. I decided that the white cardstock was too white and used my Gelatos and some water to add some color to it. Love the result. Hope you like it too.

and a few close-ups: love the gold word stickers!!

Aren't these watercolor die-cut clouds awesome!!

And this was the photo for this OTB:

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I really appreciate it!

Kids Crafts Bookworm - Ruby Rock-It

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a simple, but fun kids crafts project I made for Ruby Rock-It! My youngest is a real bookworm, so what better than creating bookworms with a bookworm for his books? Here's what we made (yes, I did help him a bit ... ):

The steps to create these are very simple: punch circles in 2 different sizes:

Use a paper piercer to pierce holes on both sides of the circles:

and use brads to attach them to one another:

We used a 1" and a 1.5" circle punch (scalloped) and punched six 1" circles and five 1.5"circles to create one bookworm.

My son decided that one of his bookworms needed legs, so we pierced some more holes and used twine to create the legs:

and a close-up:

So in case there's a moment this summer vacation when your kids say they're bored and they want you to entertain them, why not create a few bookworms together? Maybe create one for yourself too?

My supply list:

Other supplies:
Doodlebug: brads
The Twinery: twine
Martha Stewart 1" scalloped circle punch
Uchida 1.5" scalloped circle punch

Silly Monkey - Pretty Little Studio

Today I wan to share the layout I made for Pretty Little Studio featuring their awesome 8×8 papers from the new Silly Monkey collection.

I always love using many different papers with different designs and colors on my pages so this assignment was an easy one for me. As I have a soft spot for papers with dots, I started with the red dotted paper, followed by the brown wood veneer sheet. Of course I needed a multi colored sheet as well and chose the one with the stars and last but not least I chose a more neutral paper, a ledger one. Love this combination!

After choosing my papers, the layout came together easily. I added a few “monkeys” (as the subjects of my photos resemble monkeys a lot! ):

and a couple of words, a flair and stars and I was as good as done! LOVE love love this collection!!

And these are the 8x8 papers of the Silly Monkey collection

Thanks you so much for popping by!!

Let's celebrate - Ruby Rock-It

Hi my friends! For Ruby Rock-It I created two celebration cards using the Carnival Queen collection, 5x5 square embossed cards and tools from Epiphany Crafts.

To create the cards I used the Fundamentals embossed cards and folded the front of the card in half. I created a decoration for the card and adhered it to the lower half of the front. I used two Epiphany Crafts bubble caps to make the card stand up, like this:

And if you want to put the card in an envelope to send it, just lift the front a bit and fold it flat again, like this:

Hope you like it!

Here's my list of supplies:

Epiphany Crafts Bubble Caps Star 25

This is it! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
