Step-by-step tutorial "clocks" layout - My Creative Scrapbook June Main Kit

Hi everyone, for the blog of My Creative Scrapbook I did a detailed step-by-step of my "Blessed" layout. The MCS June kit with the Early Bird collection from Bo Bunny contains the most amazing papers, like the sheet with all the clocks, which is one of my favorites in this kit.

This is the page I made:

Here's how I created it: I started with the white cardstock and selected five different color mists, inks, etc.. which I sprayed and splattered horizontally over the center of my white cardstock like this:

Also included in the kit is this stamp set from 1Canoe 2 and I used a few of the stamps for my background as well:

I placed my photo on the cardstock background, below the stamped word "love" and punched and cut a series of clocks from the "Clocks" sheet:

Moving the clocks this way and that I came up with this design, which I quite liked. Except for the 10 clocks I also added a few die-cuts (butterfly and flowers):

I cut two strips from the paper "Time Flies" and adhered these at the top and bottom of my layout. I also added a few more die-cuts (bird, flower and another butterfly) and adhered the wood veneer word "blessed" on my photo:

Of course I needed to add some machine stitching:

and some hand written journaling:

After stamping the date (twice) my page was finished!

Nog 1 hapje (just 1 more bite) - My Creative Scrapbook June Main Kit

Hi friends! Today I thought I'd share another page created with the June Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. For this layout I used a quite old photo, which I still love.

Such a shame they grow up so fast!!

Love the Early Bird chipboard with a bit of glimmer and of course all the wood veneers in the kit.

LOVE - another layout using the June Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing another layout created with the June Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. I really loved the clock paper in the Early Bird collection from Bo Bunny and used it for two of my pages. Here's one of them:

When we were in Spain last May we walked for hours on end and on one of our walks we saw this wall with the painted squares. They were probably in the process of decided in which color to paint the wall, but us it was a nice spot to take a photo and the colors of squares match this collection perfectly!

My Creative Scrapbook June Main Kit sneak peeks and first layout

Hi friends! It's almost time for the full reveal of the June kits at My Creative Scrapbook, but for now the sneaks are up and 2(!) of my projects as well!! 

Here's one of the layouts I created with the June Main Kit:

And? Can you guess which collection is featured in this kit? Right .... Bo Bunny's "Early Bird"! It's not a manufacturer I would normally choose, but I was pleasantly surprised! I really love the coffee cups in this collection as well as the clocks. The wood veneers in this kit are also just perfect and I used them on all 4 of my projects!

Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I had a bit of free time on my hand today and decided to create a quick card as well. Although this time I thought I'd create a "tea" lovers card as I have this stamp set from years ago from Scraptastic that I had never used. The papers I used are from the Hussle and Heart collection from Amy Tangerine and the markers are from Stampin' Up.

I'm so happy it's Friday again!! as Friday's are the days that I don't have to go into the office! and I get to do what I love to do most .... scrapbooking!! Yay!

Today I'm showing you another 3 layouts I created with the May Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. This kit was filled with the spring collection "Spring Market" from Carta Bella.

This page was created using the May sketch, the photo of my kids was taken in Alexandria, Louisiana in 2015.
