Happy Birthday - Imaginisce

For yesterday's post on Imaginisce's blog I created a birthday layout using the awesome Par-r-rty Me Hearty collection. I used photos from quite a while ago, from way back when my oldest son turned 5 (next week he'll be 17!). I love to scrap these old photos as I have only a handful scrapbook pages from that time. I combined the boy and girl collection for this layout, because my daughter features in it as well.

And here are a few close-ups: I just love the huge festive octopus with the cup cake, present and balloon. 

And how about the puffy gems? Aren't they lovely?

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut a large number 5 and the word "birthday" and added some Thickers and stickers to decorate them:

The Best Toy - August Scraptastic Kit

With the new September freebie from Amanda Robinson Studio I created this fun layout (which is now up on her blog) about my son with his very favorite toy: his iphone!!

Another Back to School layout - featuring Bella Blvd and Amanda Robinson Studio

For this page I've used one of Amanda Robinson Studio's freebies for August: "Back to School". I really love her cut files!

In the photo you see Manon waiting for her friend to arrive, to cycle to school together (2x half an hour every day). Obviously the photo was taken last year as she's in the States right now and there's no cycling there!

I used Bella Blvd's "Sprinkles" collection for this page, love the bold colors!

I've also used one of Amanda's "Scribble Word" cut files:

Back to School - Imaginisce

It's "Back to School" week at Imaginisce's and here's what I created: 

I created a layout of my youngest’s first day in group 5. The photo is from last year, as right now we’re still enjoying our summer holidays! For this page I’ve used one of Imaginisce’s older collections: “Good Dog”. I just love the warm colors of this collection! 

For the background of my page I’ve used children’s watercolor paints for the very first time. I don’t like that my cardstock is a bit wrinkled because of it, but I love the soft colors so I’ll definitely use it more often. To build my page I’ve used a lot scraps and my Silhouette and although it came out a bit more “messy” than usual I do like the result. Hope you do too!

Where ever you go - Imaginisce

When browsing through the Disneyland photos from 2006 yesterday, I came across this one and went "ohhhh and ahhhh, look how little and cute Manon was then" ... so I printed it off and scrapped it straight away. Imaginisce's "Little Princess" collection was made for it! 

The text cutfile on the right side was made by me for Amanda Robinson Studio and can be downloaded for free from her website.

You and Me - Imaginisce

When I was scrolling through the blog of "Scrapbook and Cards Today" I found this fun free cut file and decided to use it straight away. I grabbed the "Welcome Spring" collection from Imaginisce, some Purple Pumpkin goodies from the PP store and got started. Here's what I made:
