Hi everyone, welcome to the blog! It's Monique here today sharing a layout where I used the beautiful Blossoms cut file from the JustNick Store and the Rainbow Roux collection from Jillibean Soup. Here's what I made:
And this is the Blossoms cut file I used:
For my background I decided to use some of the Color Burst powders I had just bought. The powders come in little bottles and you need to sprinkle only a very small amount of powder on your paper and then add lots of water and then you get this result. Fun right?!
Next I placed the Blossoms cut file on top and colored the inside of the blossoms using a little watercolor paint.
I used a square photo of my 3 kids and placed this on top of the cut file. With a cluster of embellishments on the right side and some in the left top corner my page was nearly done.
With a few text stickers and die-cuts and a strip of patterned paper on the right side of my layout I was more or less done. It did, however, need some inevitable machine stitching.
This is it! Hope you like it!
Look for this and other cut files in the shop and be sure to head over to see what's new! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

My Creative Scrapbook Step-By-Step | DREAM
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a step-by-step for one of the layouts I created with the My Creative Scrapbook June Main Kit. I chose this month's sketch as the base for my layout and created this page:
And this is this month's sketch I used:
And here's how I created my page:
1. I started with assembling all the products I though I would need.
2. Using 2 plates I drew two circles on my paper.
3. I hand cut around the largest circle.
4. With fringe scissors I cut around the entire paper circle to the inner (smaller) circle.
5. With a large brush and pink stamping ink I colored the white background cardstock and added a few drops of color ink as well.
6. I placed the paper circle with the fringe on top of the white cardstock.
7. I selected two photos for my layout and added one of them behind one of the chipboard frames.
8. The second photo I placed on top of the chipboard frame and placed this on top of the fringe paper circle.
9. The sticker word "DREAM" will be the title of the my page and was placed above the photos.
I added a few other die-cuts and stickers as well. Here are a few close-ups:
I really love this kit with the Simple Vintage Botanical collection from Simple Stories. The soft, romantic colors and designs are so beautiful!
Here's a photo of the June Main Kit I used:

My Creative Scrapbook June Kit | Good Times
Hello everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you're enjoying a lovely Sunday! Today I'm sharing my first layout created with the June Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. This kit features the Simple Vintage Botanicals collection from Simple Stories, a lovely soft colored collection with lots of flowers and butterflies.
Here's what I made:
This photo was taken when I was in Barcelona last month. Aren't the colors of this collection just awesome? Perfect for this photo of my friend and I.
I used a type writer to type my journaling straight on one of the journaling cards:
And here's what the MCS June Main Kit looks like:
