Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Spring + Summer Coffee (and Tea) Lovers Blog Hop! This is a hop full of Spring + Summer inspired coffee and tea cards. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop and see all the details, including giveaway info, please visit the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

I had a bit of free time on my hand today and decided to create a quick card as well. Although this time I thought I'd create a "tea" lovers card as I have this stamp set from years ago from Scraptastic that I had never used. The papers I used are from the Hussle and Heart collection from Amy Tangerine and the markers are from Stampin' Up.

Here's what I did:

Hope you like it!! Now it is time for you to go back and see the next person on the hop! Have a great time everyone! Click HERE to return.

Happy & crafty Friday!!

Scraptastic Sketchy Thursday!

Yes, it's that time again ... Sketchy Thursday at Scraptastic Club!! And a fun sketch we had!! Look:

Not your average sketch, right?! I chose to use the June Wipeout kit and add-on once more as I still had so many tickets, stickers etc. left and those were just what I needed! Here's my take:

I grouped the colors together, which resulted in a kind of a rainbow effect. Here are a few close-ups:

Can't wait to hear what you think! Thanks for stopping by and have a fab day!

Love The Beach - The Cut Shoppe

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share a layout I created for The Cut Shoppe! For this page I chose the "Everyday Essentials" cut file which I adore! Not only because there are so many different images included in this one cut file, but also because the cut file is so versatile! For my layout I only used the word "love" and a photo from out summer vacation last month. The word "love" became part of my layout title: "love the beach".

Here's what I created:

Here's the "Everyday Essentials" cut file I used:

I adhered different sheets of patterned paper behind every letter of the cut file and next I embellished the letters as well. Love those puffy sun glasses from Elle's Studio. (All the papers and embellishments I used are from the Scraptastic Club June Wipeout kit and add-on.)

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my project! And if you love this cut file then please hop over to The Cut Shoppe Etsy Store for many more amazing cut files!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Until next time!

Sun & Sand - Scraptastic Club "Wipeout" kit layout

Hey everyone! I'm back from my summer vacation and am trying to catch up! Here's a layout I created for Scraptastic Club using the June "Wipeout" kit and add-on. I adore the bright and happy colors of this kit and when the email with June’s “first look” arrived in my email box I knew straight away that this was the kit I wanted!

I started today’s layout by cutting one of Scraptastic Club’s older cut files (Summertime Rolls from July 2015) and sized it to fit my 12 x 12 page. Next I matted my photo onto two different pieces of patterned paper and proceeded by adding many of the tickets, tags, labels & cards that are part of this kit. Here’s the end result:

I also used the Wipeout stamps: the waves in three different places and the “outside all day” stamp.

I adore all the tickets, labels and cards in this kit!! And how about that flair button?! So awesome!

And the puffy stickers are so awesome as well!

That’s it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you all a fabulous day!

Scraptastic Club - Subscriber Challenge

Every month on the Scraptastic Club blog we hold a "Subscriber Challenge" and this month the challenge was to choose a photo posted in the subscriber Facebook group and then scraplift it. So that's what I did! I used the June "Wipeout" kit and add-on to create this page:

I soooo love the Wipeout kit! It's so colorful and there are so many bits and pieces I love ... like all those Elle's Studio die-cuts and cards!!

Here are a few more close-ups:

Except for the wood veneer circle everything is from the Wipeout kit and add-on. The wood veneer is from an older Scraptastic Club kit.

And before I forget, here's the layout from Stacy Howard Cheser I chose from the Scraptastic Club Subscriber Facebook page and lifted:

source: Stacy Howard Cheser - facebook

I found this layout so inspiring because of the awesome triangle border. I didn't want to create an exact copy so I chose another shape and went with flags to create the border on my page. The rest of my layout is very similar to this one I think.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Another Scraptastic Club Layout!

Today my latest layout using the May “Are You Gonna Go My Way” kit and add-on is up on Scraptastic Club's blog and I thought I'd share it here too. I love this kit so very much! I just can’t get enough of it!

Today’s layout came together rather quickly. I knew I wanted to use this photo of my daughter and her best friends enjoying one of their last activities they would do together while my daughter was in Louisiana during her exchange year.  I matted the photo and cut out the journaling card with the cameras, a little square from the map paper (the part with Louisiana in it) and two tags from the sheet with all the tags.

The two large arrows were “leftovers” from the May “Are You Gonna Go My Way” cut file and were just what this page needed! The largest arrow points to the place where my daughter spent her exchange year and I also added one of the acrylic geo tags:

Next I adhered all the other little bits and pieces, like the letter stickers, arrow sticker, a few die cuts, the cork words, the vellum shapes and the enamel dots. Last but not least I used the “Are You Gonna Go My Way” stencil and two fine tipped pens in different – very light – colors to draw in some tiny triangles/arrows for the finishing touch. Love how this page came together so easily!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by! And before you go, why not head over to the shop and check out this awesome kit and all the other fabulous kits there.

YOLO - Scraptastic Club Sketchy Thursday

Last Thursday it was time for the montly sketch challenge at Scraptastic Club! I used the May "Are You Gonna Go My Way" kit and add-on to create this layout of my daughter "driving" the school bus while she was in Louisiana.

I used horizontal strips of paper rather than vertical ones, but for the remainder of the layout I kept close to the sketch. Here are a few close-ups:

And this is this month's sketch:

Isn't this a fun one?! If you give it a try too I'd love to see!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fab weekend!

With Love - Creative Scrappers #295

Have you seen the fun June sketch from Creative Scrappers? I decided to play as soon as I saw it! Here's what I did using the Scraptastic Club May kit "Eloise" and add-on.

This photo of my daughter and her partner was taken during our holiday in the south of France last year.

And here are two close-ups:

Love all the Amy Tangerine gold stickers, but they are hard to take a picture of!

And this is the fun CS sketch #295 Kristine designed. I might have added a few adjustments here and there, but I think you can still recognize it ...

Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you a happy weekend!
