Stuck?! Sketches September 1st Reveal

Hi everyone! It's time for a brand new sketch from Stuck?! Sketches and it's a great one once again!! As I had just received my Crate Paper order from Paper Issues I knew just what to use! Here's what I did:

I used a very old photo of my two eldest kids who are showing me their very dirty hands!

Stuck?! Sketches July 1st Reveal!

For today's sketch reveal at Stuck?! Sketches I scrapped photos of my daughter's first driving lesson. There were a few hiccups before she actually had the first lesson, so these photos had to be scrapped! I used Amy Tangerine's "Oh Happy Life" collection with it's vibrant colors and fun Thickers, which I totally love!

Stuck?! Sketches Mid June Reveal

Hi everyone! It's time for a new sketch at Stuck?! Sketches! This time it's a sketch for just one photo. Because I still had the Chasing Dreams collection from Maggie Holmes on my desk from the last layout I created I decided to use it for this page as well.

Although I'm a huge fan of bold & bright colors I love the soft colors in this collection a lot! I guess loving the one doesn't mean you can't love the other as well.

Stuck?! Sketches June 1st Reveal: We Love Pizza - Echo Park

Hi friends!! It's the beginning of a new month and that means there's a new sketch challenge going on at Stuck?! Sketches! For this sketch I decided to pull out some of my old stash and found an Echo Park collection (We Are Family), completely untouched! When I found it again I remembered straight away why I had bought it and I still love everything about it!

Here's what I did:

I really love how this turned out. Scrapping everyday photos is what I love to do most, but sometimes when I've them printed them off I can't see how they will ever make for a fun layout. I had that feeling with these photos, but now the page is done I quite like it! and these are the memories I want to remember most, more than the photos taken on fabulous vacations to far away countries.

Stuck?! Sketches May 1 Reveal!

Hi friends! On May 1st a new sketch was revealed at Stuck?! Sketches! Laura did a fabulous job with it and I had so much fun using it. I decided to dig through my stash and found the Saturday collection from October Afternoon almost untouched! I also found a "swag bag" from Paper Issues I once bought, but I sadly I can't remember from which month it is (they have a new swag bag each month). 

Here's the page I created. The photos are from a while ago, when my youngest was still only 4 years old (how time flies):

New Sketch at Stuck?! Sketches

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! It's because of Easter that I'm posting this post a bit late ... halfway through the month we always have a new sketch at Stuck?! Sketches and this month I created this layout with it:

The photo is of my youngest's birthday party last Summer and the papers etc. I'm using are from Crate Paper's Cool Kid collection. 

Here's the new sketch: 

And a few close-ups. I love playing with lots of embellishments and patterned papers on my layouts and this one is no exception. Here's one of the clusters I created using some of Crate's chipboard and die-cuts as well as one of the clear acetate words of Heidi Swapp. 

Here's another cluster with lots of die-cuts (both cardstock and acetate). You can also see that I used little strips of patterned paper around the edge of my page. 

And the third cluster. Love the die-cuts and colors in this collection!
