For my blog post up at Amanda Robinson Studio I've created this layout about our family and about how much I love being together. I've used the awesome "love cards" cutting file and the fabulous Lily Bee collection "We R Family" (plus some bits and pieces).
LOVE love love this cutting file!!!
And a few more close-ups: How perfect is this flair?!!! It reflects our little family precisely!
Loving the Maya Road paper clips!
Such a shame that there are no more new Lily Bee collections to look forward to!
The cutting file from Amanda's shop I used:

Happy @ 49 - Lily Bee
For today I've got a layout about "me" to share. I used Lily Bee's Sweet Shoppe once again (I just love this collection!) and a few goodies that are available in Purple Pumpkin's shop.
I just love to use a lot of papers with different colors and designs on my layouts! A few close-ups:
Thanks for stopping again today! Love your visits!

The story of the melting ice cream - Lily Bee + free Silhouette cut file
Okay, I'll admit it, I just love Lily Bee and I have lots of their collections in my stash, old and new. So when I sat down to scrap these photos of Mats eating his ice cream I decided to use their "Sweet Shoppe" collection and combined it with some "Pinwheel" bit and pieces.
Layout "The story of the melting ice cream!!":
What I love about Lily Bee's collections are the sticker sheets with all the different sized alphabet stickers:
and the chipboard embellishments of course:
Oh oh, his shirt was sooo dirty, I don't think it survived this ice cream ....
For the background I designed my own Silhouette cut file and finally discovered how to share it. This is how it looks:

As this is the very first time I'm sharing one of my Cameo cut files, I would love to know what you think! Have fun with it and I would love it if you would give me credit when using it.

{Memories} - Lily Bee's 10/1 Sketch Challenge
Every now and then Yvonne from Scrapbook Nederland organises a crop and that's where I went yesterday! There were 10 of us and we had loads of fun! and the best part: I managed to (almost) finish four layouts!
I added two transparencies from Webster's (Allison Kreft), washi tape from Glitz and the "Hema" and some wood veneers from Basic Grey, Freckled Fawn and Studio Calico:
Here's one of them. This one I made for Lily Bee's October sketch challenge:
I used Lily Bee's Sweet Shoppe collection, which I really love!

Belated Father's Day Card - Lily Bee
I made a belated Father's Day card for Patrick as he didn't get one two weeks ago. On Father's Day we celebrated Mats' birthday party (he had his bday in December, lol) and because we didn't want to rush it we decided to celebrate Father's Day a week later ... and then the kids and I forgot all about it, shame on us! So now we celebrated Patrick's Father's Day today. Here's the card I created for him (even though he's not my father of course).
and a close-up of course:
Voor deze kaart gebruikte ik de juni kaart schets en "Sweet Shoppe" collectie van Lily Bee Design.
For this card I used Lily Bee's June card sketch and their Sweet Shoppe collection.
And this is the sketch it's based upon:
Bedankt dat je langs kwam! Fijne zondag nog!
Thanks for visiting my blog today! Have a fab Sunday!

@ THE LIBRARY - AFSC
If you're here for the I-Rock giveaway, go HERE! You have until February 15 to join!
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
This month the challenge is to scrap about your passion. As I didn't want to scrap about the very very obvious, my passion for scrapbooking, I chose to scrap about my dd's and my passion for books. It turned out to be a page about the library:
I used an old Lily Bee collection: Double Dutch, which I love a lot and hoarded until the right photos and subject came along ...
A few close-ups:
The journaling is about our library not only having loads and loads of books, but also a play corner for the kids, a restaurant with a delicious latte, hot chocolate, cakes and sandwiches.
As you can see I love stitching on my pages, in this case I stitched right through the title.... love the effect.
Because I needed some more red in the layout and I ran out, I used the strip with the manu's details, which - I think - adds just the right touch.
If you feel like scrapping about your passion too, please join us at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Tea for Two!
Today my altered Tea Box is shown on Epiphany Crafts' blog! Although Valentine's Day is over I decided to make this adorable Tea Box filled with tea and sweets. I used Lily Bee's "Head over Heels" and "Stationary" papers and the epoxy shapes from Epiphany Crafts are the perfect finishing touch!
Here are a few more photos:
The tea pot is a resistant canvas from Prima Marketing.
And this is the inside:
And this is the original box. It's a bamboo tea box (but any wooden box would do) which I bought at Xenos.
And a two pics of how I created the box. First I painted the box white, then designed the cover of the lid. To add the ribbon to the paper I used the sewing machine:
The papers from Lily Bee came with my January Kit from the Scrapbook Nook. My fav kit sofar!!
For a chance to win a heart tool just visit Epiphany Crafts' blog and leave a comment at this post. The winner will be chosen next Monday (February 20). Good luck!!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back soon!
Hugs,
Monique

Yesterday it was that time again ... sketch time at the Dutch Dares!! A sketch made by Marsha Valk. Because I want to participate in the Cheery Lynn Designs Team Call I used my new die cutting machine and new Tim Holtz dies for this page!
en hier is mijn layout/here's the layout I made:
Weer eens eentje over Tim, dit keer aan het "stoer" doen met zijn vriend Max. Ze hebben sigaretten van het feestwinkeltje gehaald en doen net "alsof". Laten we hopen dat het daarbij blijft!!!! Hier zijn een paar detailfoto's .... nou ja, een paar ...
And here are quite a lot of detail photos. The layout is about Tim acting "tough" together with his friend. The cigarettes they have are from a local "fun" store and thus fake! :-)
The buttons are made with matching Lilybee paper and my Epiphany Crafts tool "Button Studio Tool Round 20". Don't you just love that you can create buttons that match your papers exactly? If you want to see all the tools Epiphany Crafts made? Click HERE!
Furthermore I used the Tim Holtz Bigz dies "Gadget Gears". As of last week I have a Big Shot and I love being able to use all the dies there are!!!! In this case I used crunge board for them and inked and doodled them a bit.
Except for the Tim Holtz dies and the epoxy shapes from Epiphany Crafts I used a lot papers from Lilybee "Picket Fence" and Lilybee corrugated flowers, furthermore a Maya Road doily, Webster's embroidery shape, Ranger ink, letters from My Little Shoebox, some brads and of course my sewing machine!
If you want to see what the other designers made or if you want to join us with this month's sketch then hop over to the Dutch Dares blog for the layouts and more details!!

Monique

Sketch #87 The Scrappiest!
As it's Monday I can show you Liz' new sketch and my layout based on it!
The layout:
A while ago I decided to print all my favorite photos of Mats' first year (age 0 - 1) and these are two of them (I had about 1,000 photos printed, LOL). Here Mats is hugging his favorite bear (... but a bit too enthusiastic and he "fell" forward and couldn't get up anymore.... so sweet.)
Here's the sketch:
Loved this sketch! Thanks Liz!! If you want to see what the other design team members made, hop on over to the The Scrappiest blog. If you decide to create a layout using the sketch, don't forget to link it to Mr Linky because maybe you'll win that fabulous kit from the Scrapbook Circle!

A few close-ups. The papers I used here are from the Nook kit. Lots of Lily Bee!! Love those papers. Do you see the clouds?? Those are actually a cut up flower. Nice huh?
