When I was reorganizing my Imaginisce stash I found this bag with the super fun die-cut from Imaginisce's Endless Summer collection and fell in love with them all over again. I decided to use them straight away for some quick summer cards.
I started out creating the background for the cards using a couple of Milk Paints:
I layered these on some red colored patterned papers and machine stitched them. Next I adhered both Imaginisce die-cuts on top and some digital die-cuts:
Done! and now I'm all out of Endless Summer die-cuts!
Supplies:
Imaginisce - Endless Summer (patterned paper, die-cuts), Love You More (patterned paper), milk paints.
Bazzill Basics - Cardstock
Other: Aigger Sewing Machine, Silhouette Cameo, digital cut files (Scraptastic, The Cut Shoppe)
Thanks for visiting my blog!!

Vacation Fun | Pretty Little Studio
A very good morning to you! I'm sitting here, enjoying my very first cuppa of the morning and loving the quiet around me (while it lasts). Last Tuesday I had a Pinterest inspired layout up on Pretty Little Studio's blog which I wanted to share here as well.
The Pinterest pin I got to work with was such a fun one! I just love the fish shaped cups and those beautiful colors! Look!
Of course the Treasure Island collection was the first collection that came to mind. As for choosing a photo, that wasn’t too hard … I have so many photos of my kids trying to catch fish while on vacation. For the background I used a paisley stencil because the shapes reminded me of waves (and I don’t have a stencil with waves). I used a blue and a green color to mist my white cardstock and think this turned out really fun.
I layered my photo onto several pieces of paper and vellum and added a couple of frames as well. I love those frames! What I also adore are those shell shaped confettis! Aren’t they fantastic?!
Here's a list of the PLS supplies I used:
Treasure Island Collection: Patterned Paper: Treasure Island 8×8 Pack, Out To Sea, Fish Scale Reef; Magic Islands; Vellum: Anchors Away; Clear: Castaway; Flair: Anchors Away; Die-cuts: Faraway Frames, Pirate Cove (whale); Cut-Outs: Let’s Go Phrase Strips, Stickers: Tiny ABC White, Adventure Gold Vellum; Confetti: Paradise
Apart from this page, I have something else to share ..... Pretty Little Studio has a few new design team members!! Look:
Thank you so much for stopping by!

SG CREATE Magazine #14 | PARTY | Jillibean Soup
Hi everyone!! For today I thought I'd share my second project for the May issue of CREATE Magazine. This layout was created for the "theme" challenge, which was to create either a birthday layout or a travel layout. I chose to create a birthday layout and this is what I did:
A few years ago, when my oldest son turned 11, the best gift he received for his birthday was a fake tongue! The entire day he tricked his grandparents, his friends, the neighbors … everyone, by sticking a needle through his (fake) tongue and let them think it was real. A memory we will never forget. This collection from Jillibean Soup was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted to scrap these photos. It’s so colorful and versatile and perfect for both boys and girls pages!
Supply List: Patterned paper, die-cuts, washi tape: Jillibean Soup; Sewing Thread: Gütermann, Pen: K&Company.
If you haven't seen the May issue (#14) of CREATE Magazine as yet, you're definitely missing out on something! It's filled with so many awesome projects! So please don't forget to check it out!
Thank you so much for stopping by again today! It's very much appreciated!

FAVE - Imaginisce
Last Friday my "Family Fun" layout of 2 of my kids having fun at Chuck-E-Cheese's was up on Imaginisce's blog. When my daughter was in the US she went to Chuck-E-Cheese a couple of times and when my youngest heard this he begged us for months to go there, too! So .....
The colors and images of the "Big Winner" paper are just perfect for photos taken at Chuck-E-Cheese. Normally I don't reach for the color purple to scrap with, but for this photo purple is just right.
For the white background cardstock I used a bit of light green watercolor paint (another color I don't often use) and added drops of silver color mist. I also added a couple of glam rocks and a couple of coin stickers.
I positioned all of my layers on the left side of my page, of which the black checkered papers is my favorite. I also love to use digital cut files and chose this hearts cut file to place beneath my photo.
I try to add more journaling to my pages, especially hand written journaling, so that's what I did and last but not least I also drew a thin black line along to edge of my layout.
Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, cardstock die-cuts, stickers (Family Fun), Glam Rocks; American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Studio Calico: color mist. Tools: Imaginisce I-Rock tool, I-Rock Jewel Tray and Lighted Tweezers. Other: Silhouette Cameo.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

Three Kids & a Dog - Pretty Little Studio
Hi everyone! For Pretty Little Studio I created this layout with a photo of my 3 kids and doggie using the Treasure Island collection. This shows that this nautical collection can easily be used for non-sea projects. I loved the blue and green colors in my photo and decided to go with those for my entire page.
I started out with creating a watercolor background in different shades of blue and green using my Gelatos and proceeded from there. Next I layered my photos on a couple of different patterned papers, I think I used 8 in total (!), chose a bingo card in the right color, added a few words, a flair, some fun arrow and feather diecuts and digital cut files and I was done!
The "three" is a Kerri Bradford cut file and the hearts with the arrow is from The Cut Shoppe.
Normally I’m drawn to red/orange/pink colors, but I sometimes I force myself to step out of my comfort zone and I really love how this turned out.
Pretty Little Studio Supplies:
Treasure Island Collection: Patterned Paper: Treasure Island 8×8 Pack, Castaway Sea Metallic Copper, Buccaneer, Ship Deck, Walk The Plank, Sugar Cane Coast, Out To Sea, Welcome Aboard, Flair: Happy Journey, Die-cuts: Arrow Adventure, Feathers: Polly Parrot; Cut-Outs: Let’s Go Phrase Strips, Bingo Ocean Blue, Stickers: Tiny ABC White.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
xoxo
