New Doodlebug Winter Releases!!

How I wish I could go to CHA! Every year I promise myself that next time I'll go ... but I never do.... but I keep hoping that one day I'll be there! It would be easier to go together with one or more other scrappers, so who'll join me next time?

For now I do have the new Doodlebug Winter Releases!!!

LOVEBIRDS (on my desk right now!)

TAKE NOTE:

STARS AND STRIPES:

DOODLE-POPS:

CARDSTOCK STICKERS:

LOTS OF WASHI TAPES!! (these are only a few)

There are two other fabulous new collections: Fruit Stand and Flower Box and if you want to see those too, have a look at Doodlebug's blog! (I had the photos included in this blogpost as well, but the post had so many pics it wouldn't load anymore, so I removed them).

And? What you do think? Awesome right??

Being introduced at Imaginisce!

Today my introduction is up on Imaginisce's blog!! I'm still totally flabbergasted that I've made the team! that they wanted me in their select group of people to showcase their products! I really can't believe it! I can still remember when I fell head over heels in love with them; it was a few years ago when they had their Twitterpated collection (remember?). That collection was my very favorite collection for quite some time. I can't believe that I'm now of the Imaginisce design team members ... a dream come true!

Here are the projects I've created for their call:

2 cards:

and two layouts:

If you have the time I would love it if you would hop over to Imaginisce's blog to leave me some love!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

One Fall Day!

Last week I spent my time well ... you know what I did? I put my hundreds of layouts in albums! I had them lying around the house for ages; piling up in my bookcases, stacked in boxes ... and now they sit in brand new albums, chronologically organized and every child has his/her own albums in their own colors. Manon chose red ones, Tim black and Mats brown and I have green albums. The only downside of this system is that it became very clear whose photos I scrap  most ... Manon's! No surprise there I guess.

I used the D-ring albums from American Crafts ... I really think they are the best! It's so easy to add pages and change the order. I've even emptied some of the older albums (not D-ring) and switched them for the new ones! I'm so proud of myself when I look at my neatly organized rows of albums!

And you know what was so fun about this excersize? That I found quite a few layouts I had totally forgotten about! Like this one about the day my hubby and I were married for 15 years! Can't believe I just put it on the "done" pile and forgot it!

Supplies: Bella Blvd (One Fall Day).

Happy Mail Challenge no 6!!

And here's Stacy Julian's (BPC) and Doodlebug's 6th Happy Mail challenge: use a photo front and center!

I've created a New Year's card using Doodlebug's "North Pole" collection and a photo I took in the parc I walk the dog every morning. On the little tags it says "Happy 2013".

To  create a "snow" illusion I've added some shiny pearls to the photo:

Supplies: Patterned Paper, Cute Cuts Die Cuts, Doodle Twine: all Doodlbug's North Pole collection.

So, why not start the new year with some "happy mail"? Just create a card with a photo on the front/center too and share it on the site of Big Picture Classes! Who knows, maybe this time one the prizes Stacy is giving away is for you!

Thanks for stopping by!

My Little Shoebox / Punky Sprouts mini album

Today, the mini album I created for My Little Shoebox / Punky Sprouts is up on My Little Shoebox' blog. I used their "Oh, Deer!" collection ... isn't this collection awesome?

I'm not allowed to show the entire album on my blog yet (only after the 15th of the month), but I guess it's okay to show you the cover :)

The album is about a day out I had with 3 of my friends. We had such a fun day that I want to remember it forever!

I would love it if you would pay the MLS blog a visit and left me comment!

Thanks for stopping by!

New Year's Resolutions!

January first .... it has such a promising ring to it. The beginning of something new ... What will this year bring? I can't wait to find out! I have lots of wishes; for my family, for you, for me, but the most important wish I have for 2013 is that everyone stays safe and healthy. I think we can overcome everything else, as long as we have each other there isn't much else we need or can't do!

Having said that I want to thank ALL of you for being there this last year. I'm so grateful for having you in my life, it wouldn't have been such an awesome year without you!! and therefore I want to wish you all a very happy, but above all, HEALTHY 2013!!!

And now on to the very first challenge for 2013 and that's this one at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge: What will be your new year's resolution this year, or scrap about your resolution another year. Were you successful? Would you do it again?? Or what do you wish you could resolve and stick to???

and this is what I did with it:

I used October Afternoon's "Holiday Style" collection plus some things I had lying on my desk.

The journaling is about how I tend to forget my New Year's resolutions as soon as January 2nd arrives and that it is really no use making them. However, I decided once again on this one resolution "stop procrastinating" and just DO! This has been my resolution for years on end, but I know I'm still the queen of procrastinating ... but who knows? maybe this year will different!

If you want to see what the other designers did with this challenge then hop on over to AFSC! and even better, join us and scrap about your resolutions too and link up your page to win some goodies from Scrapbook Fantasies or to become our new guest designer!!

Thanks for stopping by and above all, thank you for your comments! They are much appreciated!
Hugs,
