Inkido projects

Good morning!! Are you enjoying your extra hour too??? or don't you have one? I always hate it when we have an hour less, but I love it when we have an extra one!! it feels like I have time for anything today!!

Okay enough talk, I wanted to show you what I've been doing last week. I did quite a lot actually but in this post I'll only show you the INKIDO projects I made.

First a layout (my comfort zone):

As I have a lot of Christmas papers, I made yet another Christmas layout. I think the stamp of the little girl-dwarf is my favorite right now! isn't she cute?

For this layout I used: patterned paper: Gammeldags Jul (Julprick and Julhjartan), Chistmas Elegance (Hearts of Joy), white cardstock and corrugated cardstock, some stamps, ribbons, flowers and leaves.

And my other project were these 2 boxes:

As I wanted to create something a bit different than another layout and my daughter's birthday is next month, I decided on these little gift boxes.

For these boxes I used: paper: Candy Tree (Mint Candy Stripes, Merry Christmas and Sweet Candy Flakes), some flowers, a leave and some ribbon.

It's such a pleasure to create with all the Inkido products, they are so very very beautiful!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone and hope to see you back soon!

Sketch #87 The Scrappiest!

As it's Monday I can show you Liz' new sketch and my layout based on it!

The layout:

A while ago I decided to print all my favorite photos of Mats' first year (age 0 - 1) and these are two of them (I had about 1,000 photos printed, LOL). Here Mats is hugging his favorite bear (... but a bit too enthusiastic and he "fell" forward and couldn't get up anymore.... so sweet.)

A few close-ups. The papers I used here are from the Nook kit. Lots of Lily Bee!! Love those papers. Do you see the clouds?? Those are actually a cut up flower. Nice huh?

Here's the sketch:

Loved this sketch! Thanks Liz!! If you want to see what the other design team members made, hop on over to the The Scrappiest blog. If you decide to create a layout using the sketch, don't forget to link it to Mr Linky because maybe you'll win that fabulous kit from the Scrapbook Circle!

Slagharen!

Handig joh!!!

Last week the kids had their Fall holidays and although I didn't plan to go away I booked us a (last minute) three day trip to an amusement park! As Patrick couldn't take the days off it was just me and my kids. And although we missed Patrick terribly we had sooooo much fun!!  Here's a little impression:

Hier een kleine impressie:

Wat Mats al durft is niet te geloven; zie je in de middelste collage die achtbaan??? daar zit-ie in!!! Brrr, mij niet gezien!!!

Sometimes I don't believe the things Mats does!! When you have a look at the photo block in the middle, you'll see a photo of a roller coaster.... Mats is actually in there!!! (with his big sis and bro of course), but not me, I'm too chicken!

De vakantie is op deze manier voorbij gevlogen! Het is nu weer terug naar het huishouden, maar gelukkig ook terug naar de scraptafel!!

Fijn weekend nog en tot snel!

10-10-10 with Epiphany Crafts!!

10-10-'10!!! I love these "special" days.... I always wonder what is happening on days like this. For example we got married on 08-12-96 (Dutch way: 12-08-96), get it??? 8 x 12 = 96!!

For Epiphany Crafts today is a reason to celebrate!! They are giving away 10 items on their Facebook page! So make sure you're a fan and keep your eyes peeled for the giveaways!!!

In honor of this day I created this layout: "10 reasons why I love you" using - of course - 10 EC shapes!! This time a page about Timothy!!

Materials: AC "City Park" and "Dear Lizzy", Bazzill and Core'dinations, letters from MLS, AC, Sassafras and Jenni Bowlin and of course my EC shape studio tool "round 14" and my EC shape studio tool "heart 14".

Hope you're having a good 10-10-10 too!! and don't forget to visit the EC Facebook page for a chance to win!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

My INKIDO projects

Let me show you the two projects I created with the fabulous products I received from INKIDO!!

First the Halloween canvas I told you about yesterday:

The photo is of my youngest when he wasn't even 2 years old yet. He was wearing his sister's witch hat, but because it was much too big it kept falling over his eyes!

I used my Slice to cut out all the Halloween images: the house, the spiders, the trees, the moon with the star, the bats and the title. Apart from mounting the images with some foam adhesive to create some depth, I also curled the branches of the trees a bit forward.

For this project I used Inkido's: Autumn Wardrobe (Boyfriend Sweater and Wrap my Scarf), Mathea (Golden Glow) and Tuva (Purple Orchid).

And then on to my second project! A Christmas layout, again of my youngest!

I wanted a photo of him wearing the cute Christmas hat, but he kept pulling it off! So in the end I would use one hand to put the hat on his head and with the other hand I started snapping away with my camera! Don't you just love the look of his hair?? And yes, I used pink papers for a boy's layout..... (Mats says he doesn't mind, but I wonder what he'll say in about 5 years time???, LOL!)

Here are a few close-ups:

For this layout I used papers from Inkido's "Candy Tree" line, some white and corrugated cardstock and of course some of the gorgeous flowers, leaves, ribbon and pearls.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon!! Have a fab weekend!!

Hugs,
Monique
