A new layout and a weekend away!

Let me start with the layout I created for Liz and The Scrappiest.

This is the new sketch:

And this is my take on it:

I used the May Nook kit which was filled with wonderful October Afternoon goodies and my new stamps from myStampBOX!!! I used "Road Trip" and "Snapshot", love them!!!

And then some photos of our weekend away! As we had the Monday off we decided to book a holiday cottage in Mierlo. It was terrific!!! The weather was awesome and there was soooo much to do!! And you know what I liked best??? That it was only 1,5 hours away!!!

One of the reasons we were here was the birthday party of Jesper, Fred and Patrick's father on Sunday which was being held here (we booked our holiday cottage secretly to surprise Patrick's sister and her family!! and it worked!!)

Today we had to leave because the kids have to go to school tomorrow.... but it feels like we've been away for at least a week!!!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you'll leave a comment!!
Hugs, Monique
