Big Picture Classes - Happy Mail Challenge 3!

Stacey Julian just revealed Happy Mail challenge number 3 on the website of Big Picture Classes and again it's a fun one! Here it is: Challenge 3: Sand, Scratch, Stomp and Distress your Happy Mail card!

And here're my cards. I'm not a person who creates X-mas cards for everyone, quite the contrary, last year I've sent an email with a photo, so it's really something special when you're getting a "Merry Christmas" card from me! And I know exactly who are going to get the cards below! Both cards are for friends who are very very dear to me and who are always sending me beautiful self made cards, with Christmas, but also on other occasions.

and the close-ups:

Here's what I did: I embossed snowflakes on both cards and then sanded them, so the snowflakes turned white. Fun huh? I also sanded the edges of both cards.

Supplies: Doodlebug's Scalloped "Create-A-Card" Mini Cards and matching Mini Envelopes, 6x6 Paper Pad "North Pole", Cardstock Icons Stickers "North Pole", Doodles Cardstock Stickers: Merry Christmas.
Tools: Die Cutter (Sizzix Big Shot), Snowflake Embossing Folder, Sanding Block and Snowflake Punch.
