10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT WINTER - { DOODLEBUG }
Today my "10 thing I love ... " layout is up on Doodlebug's blog. I love love love sunny, crisp winter days, I love sitting by the fire - warm and cosy inside and cold and dark outside, I love sleigh riding with my kids .... but I have to admit that by now I would also love for spring to begin ...
Here's the page I made using Doodlebug's North Pole line:
and a few close-ups:
I just love this line! and it's not only perfect for your Christmas photos but also for your winter/snow photos!
And you know what I LOVE too??? My Cameo! It's the best buy (I should say "present") ever!!! I cut the heart frame, the 10 and the arrows with the words with it.
Thanks for visiting my little blog again today!

Scrapbook Magazine UK!
Maybe you already read about my news on facebook, but I wanted to mention it on my blog too :) ! A little while ago I got such an exciting email from Lindsey over Scrapbook Magazine UK asking me if I would like to join their design team!! Duh!! Of course I would like that!! Who wouldn't!!
So last week the magazine in which I'm being introduced (issue 70) fell through the mailbox!
And here's the article: 3 pages all about me and my layouts!!
I have to say it feels very strange to see my photo and layouts in a real magazine!! but I'm over the moon!!
And now I'm waiting for my first assignment! So stay tuned ... :)
Thanks for stopping by once again!

Imaginisce I-TOP layout & tutorial!
Hi everyone!!
Last week it was "I-TOP" week over at Imaginisce! My turn on their blog was last Thursday, did you see it? If not I'll show you here what I made and how.
Here's the layout I created, using Imaginisce's fabulous "Love You More" collection. The photos are of Patrick and I, sitting on the rooftop terrace of our hotel in Barcelona last October. The view from there was so amazing we went to this terrace every day!
And a few close-ups of the I-Top buttons I made:
I really loved to use the I-Top for my page. I've created both paper buttons and fabric buttons and love how they turned out. They are the perfect finishing touch for my page!
Want to see how easy it is to create these buttons with the I-Top??? Here goes:
1. Gather your supplies: I-Top tool, I-Top buttons, Paper Punches and patterned paper:
Step 2: Choose the button size and the punch you need (I chose the medium size):
Step 3: Place the button shell on the smaller head like this:
Step 4: Place your punched out paper over the button shell and squeeze your tool and release again.
Step 5: Flip your tool over and push down all the paper tabs:
Step 6: Flip the tool back up and place the button base on the metal head like this:
Step 7: Squeeze the tool closed again until you hear a popping sound which means the button clicked together. And that’s it, you have a perfect button!
Now if you want to create a fabric button the way to do this is more or less the same, but there is a slight difference, have a look.
Step 8: Gather your supplies: a piece of fabric (I’m using a 1€ coupon from Ikea), the right button size and punch and template (I chose the medium size again):
Step 9: Cut a square piece of fabric the size of the template, about 2”x2”:
Step 11: Trim down the excess of fabric a little. If you have thicker fabric you may want to trim it a bit more, but my fabric is rather thin.
Step 12: Push all the fabric ends down like this:
Step 13: Place the button base on the metal head (just like you did with the paper button) and again squeeze until you hear a popping sound so you know your button is ready! Don’t you just love your self-made buttons?
Supplies Used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned paper, sticker sheet and washi tape).
Other Supplies used: Bazzill cardstock, page from an old book.Tools: Imaginisce I-Top, Silhouette Cameo, Aigger sewing machine
Thanks for stopping by once again and hope you'll have a fantastic and creative weekend!

A { Unity / Doodlebug } Card !
Last Tuesday, when I joined Unity's {be inspired} challenge, I had so much fun that I decided to play again! This time though I didn't create a layout, but I decided on a card, again using their February stamps.
This is their card sketch I used:
And this is my take:
Because the February stamps are love / Valentine's stamps Doodlebug's Lovebirds collection is just perfect for the card.
A few close-ups of the stamps:
Gorgeous huh?
And here's the stamp set I used one more time:
Thanks for stopping by once again!

Doodlebug Beatles Song Lyrics Project
Hi everyone! Today it's my turn on Doodlebug's blog to show you my Beatles (Love) Song Lyrics Project! I've chosen for their song "From Me, To You":
7. and carefully arrange in a vase or watering can:
The string with the hearts is also cut with the Cameo. I used my sewing machine to create the little garland.
If there's anything that you want,
If there's anything i can do,
Just call on me and i'll send it along
With love from me to you.
I just love that song and knew straight away that this was the song I was going to use!
Here's the project I made using Doodlebug's Lovebirds collection:
On Doodlebug's blog I said that I would have a step-by-step to show you how I created this bouquet, so here it is!
1. Cut flowers using your Silhouette Cameo like I did, or another diecutting machine:
