PageMaps layout!

Hi everyone! So happy you're here again!! Today I have another October Afternoon - Woodland Park - layout for you! This one is based on the latest PageMaps sketch from Becky Fleck.

It's possible you've seen the photo before as I've used this photo for another layout as well. But as I have 3 kids and they all have their own albums I'm supposed to scrap certain photos more times, LOL!

Here's Becky's sketch:

And here's my page:

For the very first time I've used my "Sew Easy"!! Yay! And it worked! I've used it to create the banner in the top left corner and really love the result.

And then a few close-ups:

I've loved working with this sketch, as it forced me to use more than one photo! I love layouts with more photos than one, but when I'm not using a sketch I'm inclined to use only one...

Btw, speaking of using this photo for another layout ... that same layout is being featured on "Aussie Scrap Source" blog for their Jenni Bowlin Studios Weekend Inspiration blogpost. Have a look HERE! Scroll down a bit to see my layout.

Thanks for stopping by and see you back tomorrow for a fun Doodlebug project?

Hugs,

  4. This brought a smile to my face! Love the whimsicalness to it! Wonderful details!

There is a reason we are friends... another great minds one... LOL! I just did this sketch challenge last night and used a two out of the three photos that I have scrapped before. They so fit the story I wanted to tell with the sketch and the product. I only have the one kiddo so my rationale is one album for Alex and one for me! LOL!:)
