Hi everyone!!

Today I've got something else entirely to show you. No scrapbooking projects, but a super cute little wallet from My Little Shoebox!!

Isn't this a super darling wallet?! It looks so super bright and happy and the interior is just perfect! It has got enough room for all my cards, my driver’s licence and my cash. And last, but certainly not least, it’s just the right size to fit into my coat pocket!

A few more photos:

So You Live Life In COLOR!!

The "Take Note" Collection is being previewed all week long at
You can WIN some too! Just check out Monday's blog post and comment to enter...good luck!

This week Doodlebug's "Take Note" collection is being featured at their blog. Have you seen the awesome projects the design team made sofar? My project was up yesterday, take a look HERE

One of my youngest's hobbies is drawing (when he doesn't play on one of his computers, that is). This is a drawing he made at school. He explained how he made it (he laid down on the paper, marked how long he was with a pencil and then started drawing and coloring). He was so super proud of it, that I just had to take a picture! This Take Note collection of Doodlebug is just what I was looking for to scrap this photo!

and a few details:

Supplies: Doodlebug Take Note: Patterned Papers, Washi Tape, Cardstock Stickers "Icons", Mini Doodle-Pops (pencils), Cardstock Alphabet Stickers (Teensy Type and Love Letters).

Thanks for stopping by! Really love all your visits and comments!!

Xyron and Imaginisce Blog Hop!

Hi everyone, welcome to the Xyron/Imaginisce Blog Hop!

Imaginisce was lucky enough to team up with Xyron this week and everyone on the design team was given the treat of using Xyron's products for their designs! We received the Xyron Mega Runner and a Xyron Glue Stick, which were both so super easy to use!

On both Imaginisce's blog and Xyron's blog projects will be shown every day this week and prizes will be given away, so make sure you don't forget to stop by their blogs this week!!

My project is up on Imaginisce's blog today! Here's what I created.
For our kids the highlight of Easter is looking for the chocolate eggs and bunnies my husband and I have hidden throughout the house and garden on Easter Sunday. So for this year I decided to create an Easter Basket for each of our 3 kids in which they can put the sweets they've found!

You won't believe how quickly these were created! I've cut the templates with my Cameo en used Xyron's Mega Runner to glue it all together ... in no time at all I had 3 fantastic baskets!

I'm very happy with my Xyron Mega Runner!!

Supplies Used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned paper). Other Supplies used: Adhesive: Xyron Mega Runner, Doodlebug brads, Silhouette software: Lori Whitlock, Silhouette Cameo.

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to stop by Diana's and Jennie's blogs as well to see what they createdl!

Ruby Rock-it Bella! layout

It's been a while since I've had the chance to play with Ruby Rock-it Bella!'s papers ... not because I don't like them, but because I just can't find them here in The Netherlands. When I saw their March challenge I really wanted to play and although it's probably expected to use their new collections I decided to use one of the older collections I do have: Paper Boy.

Although this is a collection meant for little boys I found it just perfect for my girls layout ....

and here's the sketch:
en dit is de schets van de challenge:

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back soon!

Imaginisce "Endless Summer" Projects

This week it's "Endless Summer" week at Imaginisce (hard to imagine with the freezing cold outside) and here're the projects I created:

I really love the oversized Die Cuts that come with this collection and decided to create a card to feature those. Love the result!

Supplies: Imaginisce (Endless Summer patterned paper and oversized die cuts).

And my second project: a "Cruising" photo tray

In 2011 my sweet parents-in-law took us, their kids and families, on a 8 day cruise visiting Italy, Greece, Turkey and Kroatia. We had the time of our lives! And although it's been 2 years I still wanted to create something special to give them as a way to say "thank you" (other than we already did). When I saw this gorgeous collection from Imaginisce I knew what I wanted to make: a photo tray! Here it is, hope you like it!

Supplies: Imaginisce (Endless Summer, patterned papers, oversized die cuts, sticker stackers, chipboard stickers and Childhood Memories ABC stickers). Other supplies: Kaisercraft photo display, American Crafts cardstock, gesso, Studio Calico color mist, dies: Spellbinders, Joy crafts, Marianne Design. Tools: Silhouette Cameo and Sizzix Big Shot.

Okay, that's it for now. Tomorrow I'm going on a crop marathon and hopefully will create lots of new projects! What are you going to do this weekend? Well, whatever you'll be doing, I hope you'll have a wonderful time!

Thanks for stopping by!

** Never Forget **

This week Doodlebug's new "Stars & Stripes" collection is being featured on their blog. Here's the layout I made. I made the photos during our visit to the 9/11 memorial in October 2011. This visit made such an impression, that I knew straight away which photos I wanted to scrap with this collection!

For a chance to win this collection hop over to Doodlebug's blog and read all about it!

Bedankt dat je weer even langs kwam!

{ On Stage } layout

Last Friday was the 15th so .... here's the new "Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge" sketch challenge!!

The layout is about my dd and her friend who are the presenters for the "On Stage" event in their school's auditorium. It's a whole evening filled with song and dance and they are the ones to present this in a fun and original way.

And a few close-ups:

Supplies: Echo Park "Everyday Eclectic" collection by Allison Kreft. How I LOVE this collection!!

and this is Anne's sketch:

When I saw the sketch, my first thought was "omg, what am I going to do with this sketch?", but then I decided to do what I always do with sketches ... take one look at it and put it aside and don't look at it again. This way I create my layout with only my first impression of the sketch ... this always works and it worked again with this one.

If you want to see what the other designers made have a look at the AFSC blog, also we have a whole group of new dt members who, I'm sure, you'll love!

Thanks for visiting my blog again today and see you soon!

* Washi Tape Card *

On the blog of Moxie Fab World I found another fun challenge (yes, I'm a sucker for challenges, I admit it!). This one challenges you to use washi tape in a clever and innovative way on a card. Well, with the numerous rolls of tape Doodlebug just sent me, I couldn't resist!

So here's what I did:
- I started with a plain chipboard star;
- then I stuck several strips of different tapes on the star, slightly overlapping on the sides;
- I turned the chipboard star around and cut the tape around the edges of the star, but not too close to the edge;
- then I carefully folded the rest of the tape around the edge of the chipboard;
- Next I found a Cuttlebug embossing folder with dots and I embossed the chipboard star with the tape!

I really love the result! Here's a better look at the embossing:

Supplies: Doodlebug Stars & Stripes collection and Maya Road chipboard stars.

If you have loads of washi tape as well (who doesn't?) then why not play along?! You have until April 1 to post your projects on your blog and link them to the Moxie Fab World blog! Read all about the challenge HERE

Thanks again for visiting my blog and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

*** Mmm Watermeloen!! ***

This week the new Doodlebug collection "Fruit Stand"  is being featured at their blog. The dt made some fabulous projects, lots of altered items, home decor pieces, layouts and cards. I chose to make a layout using photos of my kids eating water melon for my assignment:

En een paar close-ups:

Supplies: Doodlebug Fruit Stand: Patterned Paper, Cardstock Stickers "Icons", "Fancy Frills", "Doodles", Washi Tape, Mini Doodle Pops (Bitty Blossoms and Summer Fun), Mini Banners Craft Kit, Simply Put Album Inserts, Doodle Twine, Cardstock Alphabet Stickers (Teensy Type).

Gaaf he?

Jenni Bowlin layout

As I'm a subscriber to Jenni Bowlin's monthly scrapbooking kits I often browse her blogs and the message board and there I found this fun challenge: Scattegories!

Here are a few of the rules so you'll understand my page:

1. Choose your letter. You can go with the letter of your first name or you can use this site that will randomly choose a letter for you http://www.randomlettergenerator.com/ . To make it more fun, please try to choose a letter that has not yet been chosen.

2. All your product must start with your letter. Those of you who have played Scattergories know there is always creativity (or should we say cheating?) involved in this process. ;)

For the rest of the rules please go HERE

So I used the "randomlettergenerator" and it gave me the letter "H".... not a very easy one. I could have tried again of course, but nah ... that wouldn't have been fair. So the letter H it is. In the end I found quite a few products starting with H (I admit I have been a bit creative).

Here's my page:

H is for: Hexagons, Hearts, Handwriting, mr Huey's mist, Hodge Podge pp (JBS), Hound (dog, but needed the "h" - flatback (JBS), House card (JBS), Hopscotch alpha stickers (Doodlebug), Hopscotch paper and stickers (Fancy Pants), Hemp Cord Hemptique), Tim Holtz staples, Hounds tooth washi tape (Doodlebug), Hand doodling.

And a few close-ups:

The photo is of my youngest (on the right) showing his iPod to his friends.

Hope you like it!
