I had the fantastic Scraptastic Club July kit "Rock Lobster" lying on my desk waiting for me to start scrapping, so I decided to join in their Sketchy Thursday challenge!

Here's what I created, using photos from our cruise from 2011:

I really adore this kit! Have you seen that super cute whale stamp? Here're a few close-ups:

Last week it was my turn to show my summer project on Imaginisce's blog. I created a mini album for the occasion using Endless Summer and a few of the fabulous Imaginisce tools like the I-Top and the I-Rock. The photos are from our holiday in France last year.

Have a look:

As it's the summer holidays I have a bit more time to play with my scrap stuff than usual, so I decided to join in the August monthly card challenge at Unity Stamp Company once again.

Here's my card, using their February 2013 Kit of the Month and Pebbles "Let Freedom Ring" and "Fresh Goods". The ribbon is from May Arts.

The Sun Glasses Brigade - Ruby Rock-It

I really love this photo of my daughter and husband! They're at the (very windy) west coast of Portugal and actually my husband is filming this with his iPhone. Because of the wind Manon's hairs were flying every which way! My hubby then sent me the video (as I stayed at home with our youngest who still had to go to school) and I did a "print screen" of this image in the video. It shows Manon exactly how she is: fun loving, always smiling, always having fun! Hurray for the iPhone and its endless possibilities!

This collection "Carnival Queen" by Ruby Rock-It is so perfect for this photo and as they're having a sketch challenge this month I've decided to combine the two.

And of course a few close-ups:

And last but not least two close-ups of the arrows from DeeDee from UmWowStudio. Have you ever been to her shop? Her stuff is awesome!!

This is the July sketch from Ruby Rock-It. The challenge ends July 30, so there's still time to play if you feel like it!!

Thanks for stopping by again today!

Project Life - Doodlebug

And it's time for another Project Life spread (week 13, 2012 .... shhht, don't tell I'm so far behind!). For this one I used Doodlebug's awesome Take Note collection. The 4x6 cards, the stickers, the 6x6 paper pads, the Teensy Type alpha stickers ... everything is so perfect for a PL!

and here're the pages shown separately:

I used my Cameo to create the top left background, the one with the clouds, and then adhered a piece of patterned paper from my 6x6 paper pad behind.  The same was done for the orange "on stage" background (chevron).

and a few close-ups:

Except for my PL spread Stephanie Buice's spread is also up on Doodlebug's blog today (and yesterday Wendy Sue's and Tiffany Hood's), so if you want more inspiration hop over to Doodlebug's blog

Thanks for stopping by, you're the best!
