Dress-Up Dolls - Doodlebug

This week it's "Kids Crafts" week at Doodlebug Design!! The entire week the designers share their favorite kids crafts projects! The ideas are fabulous! So, no more bored kids this summer holiday! Get them crafting!

Here's what I created: two dress-up dolls with fun Doodlebug style clothes.

I found the idea for the dolls in the Silhouette Store (design is from Rivka Wilkins) and had so much fun creating them. I used to have a doll like this when I was about 8 years old (still have, she's a bit "yellowish" now) and I played with her for hours on end.

I made "4th of July" dresses for both girls :).

Doodlebug's cardstock, 6x6 paper pads and the fantastics designs and colors were just perfect for this project! The clothes and the hairs are adhered to the doll using strips of adhesive magnetic tape: super easy!

And here's a photo where you can see the size a bit better:

Supplies: Doodlebug cardstock, "Stars & Stripes" collection, "Lovebirds" collection. Tools: Silhouette Cameo. Silhouette design: Rivka Wilkins

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Have a fun week!
