Imaginisce April Sketch Challenge

At Imaginisce's we started the month of April with a new sketch challenged (sketch designed by Laura Whitaker)! I used the awesome "Sunny" collection and some watercolor paints to create this page of my son and daughter having lots of fun in the pool:

I really adore this new collection and it's definitely my new favorite of Imaginisce's! Not only are the papers just perfect, the package with the die-cuts is absolutely awesome too. That sun for example, isn't it fabulous?!

As I don't want the adhesive shining through the sun I stapled it to my page. One of the challenge rules was to use buttons on the page, I used a few from the Family Fun collection.

Love those sticker stackers as well! They give that extra bit of dimension to your page to make it even more interesting.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the title. The circle was hand stitched.

Supplies:
  • Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts, word strip stickers, sticker stackers (Sunny), buttons (Family Fun). American Crafts: cardstock. Tools: Imaginisce Score ‘N’ Pierce Tool, Silhouette Cameo. Other: Trodat date stamp, Heidi Swapp Color Shine, misc. watercolor paint.

And this is the sketch we  used:
