My Inkido projects

Yesterday was my turn to post on the Inkido blog again!! Here's what I did:

Last year I scrapped about a 150 layouts and I think 145 of them are about my kids! One of my resolutions for 2011 is to scrap more about others as well, for example about: ... my friends!!

Yvonne is one of my best friends. We've known each other about 35 years, but we're real friends for about 26 years now (and I hope we'll stay that way for the next 50 years!!). I think that is worth to scrap!!

Materials I used: Patterned Paper: Julhjärta Röd, Snöboll Rödd, Classic (Notes Brun), Autumn Wardrobe (Tailored Stripes), red cardstock, a tag, ribbon, pins, crystals, stamp and a flower all from Inkido.

Because of the New Year I decided to scrap these two photos of myself on New Year's Eve. It was about 20 minutes past midnight and my dh and the two older kids were still outside with their fireworks (which I love, but from the inside, LOL) and I was playing with my camera - initially trying to capture the kids and the fireworks - and then trying to take a few pics of myself as well.

I used all kinds of Christmas products (papers, card, stamp), but to my relief this didn't make the layout look "Christmassy" at all.

Materials I used: patterned paper: Autumn Wardrobe (Tailored Stripes), Hjertegod, Gran Brun, Classic  (Notes Brun), stamps, tag, pearls, charms, ribbon and a little card from the "Vintage Klippeark" collection (love those!) all from Inkido.

Did you know I've been asked to stay on Inkido's design team for 2011? I'm so happy! I get to create with their gorgeous products for another whole year!!!!! :-)

You've probably noticed I love scrapping Polaroid-like photos. If you ask yourself how I make them, I'll tell you! You download the free software from Poladroid HERE and after that you just drag your photo to the Poladroid icon and that's all! The polaroid photo will be saved on your computer, you print it and voila!! Super simple!

Another Design Team!!

2011 Begint goed voor mij!! In december vroeg Danielle of ik misschien deel wilde nemen in het design team van Dutch Dares en natuurlijk zei ik JA!! Het is een hartstikke leuke Nederlandse challengesite met een design team dat zulke gave dingen maakt!

The start of 2011 is going so well (hope it remains like this!, although, then I wouldn't have enough hours in the day, LOL)....you know why??? As of January 1 I'm part of this new Ducht challenge blog "Dutch Dares"!!! Deze maand is de dare "one little word" naar het project van Ali Edwards. Je maakt een project over jouw woord voor 2011!! Doe je ook mee???

The first dare for 2011 is "one little word" after Ali Edwards' idea!! (I'm such a fan of hers!! but then, who isn't?). My word is "ENJOY"! I've decided that this year will be the year I'm not going to only look on the downside of things anymore, but that I will enjoy whatever life brings me!! Here's my layout, another one created with that fabulous collection "Sweetness" from Pink Paislee:

Weer met die gave lijn "Sweetness" van Pink Paislee... kan er geen genoeg van krijgen!! (maar nu is mijn stash op dus dit was de laatste, LOL).

Mijn woord voor het nieuwe jaar is "ENJOY"! Ik heb me voorgenomen om wat er ook op mijn pad komt dit jaar, er zoveel mogelijk van te genieten!! de mooie kanten te zien in plaats van de minder mooie, te kijken naar wat ik heb in plaats van naar wat ik niet heb, genieten van de dagelijkse dingen in plaats van steeds maar te streven naar meer.... zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Je snapt wat ik bedoel!

Ben je al op het blog van Dutch Dares geweest??? Het heeft een hele nieuwe gave (koeien) look!! Super Nederlands!! er is zelfs een nieuw blinkie voor de fans gemaakt!

Good News!!
