Louisiana - Pretty Little Studio

Hi everyone here's my very first “Let’s Go” layout. This collection from Pretty Little Studio is definitely my new favorite!! It’s amazing how many fun designs and embellishments this collection contains! It was so great to be able to finally dig in! and I had so much fun creating this page. Lucky for me we travelled quite a lot so I have many photos to scrap with this collection.

I started this layout with the Louisiana digital cut file (from The Cut Shoppe) and took it from there.

My favorite item in this collection is definitely the vellum tape, which is just like washi tape. I used three pieces on my page and as it’s a brand new product in the Pretty Little Studio shop I was very curious to see how this would turn out. Well, it’s awesome! It’s very sticky and very easy to use!! I very much hope all the next collections will contain this vellum tape too!!

And I soooooo love this cut file!! You know Ashley created cut files of every State? Go here to check them out!

Here’s a list of what I used to create my page: Let's Go collection.
Patterned paper: Dallas, Chicago, Portland, Anchorage; Clear sheet: Go West black; Shipping Tags: Salt Lake clear; Flair: Fresno; Clear Shapes: Pacolet; Stars: Spain; Tickets: Define.Travel.; Stickers: GeoTag, Vellum Tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Have a great day!
Cheers,
Monique

Scraptastic Club Sketchy Thursday | The Bestest Friends

Good morning everyone! I've got another layout for you using Scraptastic Club's September "Skinny Love" kit. Yesterday the sketch challenge went up (on Scraptastic's facebook page as the website isn't up just yet) and here's what I made:

The photos are - again - from Manon's year in the US. This was a sweet sixteen birthday party for her friend Lindsey. No need to tell you she had an amazing time!

I used lots of Crate's Wonder collection together with some of Scraptastic's exclusive products, like the white paper with the flags, the wood veneer, the cork circle and the die-cut word "the bestest".

And this is the sketch Susan designed for us:

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! Hope you'll have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Monique

Another Pinterest Monday at Scraptastic Club!

For yesterday's "Pinterest Monday" at Scraptastic Club Carol Monson and I chose this fun illustration we found here on Pinterest:

And here's what I created using this pin for inspiration:

I used Scraptastic Club's September "Skinny Love" kit and add-on which was filled with Crate Paper's "Wonder" collection and although I don't have cats (is never going to happen either as we're all very allergic to them) I really LOVE this collection, especially that sheet with all the houses!

Here I fussy cut the lowest row of houses from the "Cheerful" sheet:

And from the "Bright" sheet I fussy cut the word HAPPY:

Love those puffy stickers!! The fabric tag is from Pinkfresh Studio, awesome right?

Also love those big die-cuts like the camera!!

Scraptastic Club September kit "Skinny Love":

Scraptastic Club September add-on "Skinny Love":

Scraptastic Club September Stamps "Skinny Love":

Did you know that Scraptastic Club has boards on Pinterest for every single kit?? So if you're looking for inspiration you should really hop over to Pinterest to have a look, it's really worth it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Heart You | Imaginisce

Today I've got another layout created with the awesome Give Thanks collection up on Imaginisce's blog. This time though, I used the collection for a totally different kind of layout, namely one of my youngest son and daughter who had just been to "Build-A-Bear". We don't have these stores in The Netherlands and it has been a long time wish for both of them to go there.

Because the lights in the shop were a bit yellow and my son's vest was orange the photos matched the colors of the Give Thanks collection perfectly. The heart cut file is from The Cut Shoppe and I chose it because of the "pie" parts, which gave me the opportunity to use many different patterned papers.

I love to add hand written journaling to my pages and in this case I decided to write along the edge of the heart shape. Die-cuts have always been a favorite of mine and I just love the jar die-cut in this collection:

And how about the puffy "squirrel" sticker? Isn't he adorable?

I used Imaginisce's largest paper punch (initially meant for the I-Top tool) to create to circles behind the die-cuts:

How I love this collection!! Can't wait to see what you'll create with it!

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts, puffy stickers (Give Thanks); American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce Paper Punch 34 mm. Other: digital heart cut file: The Cut Shoppe.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog again today!

Pinterest Monday - Scraptastic Club

For one of the "Pinterest Mondays" at Scraptastic Club I chose this fun illustration of the bike and the photo of the pink cookies. I love the pink color, the bicycle, the chevrons and the sayings!

And here's my page:

It's not very hard to see what inspired me when I made this layout, lol. The chevron background (which is a cut file from Scraptastic from January), the pink color, the gold elements, my brand new bicycle and the title.

Love that tag with the gold chevrons from American Crafts!!

For my project I used Scraptastic Club's August Elastic Heart kit:

And Elastic Heart add-on:

I know I said it before, but I really love this kit!! All the gold and pink, sigh!!

Scraptastic Club's old website is still down, but in a couple of days the new website will be ready! Yay!! Can't wait!

Have a fab weekend!

Guest Designing for The Cut Shoppe!

Hi everyone! Today is a good day, as I'm guesting for The Cut Shoppe! The Cut Shoppe is an Etsy store that offers a variety of Digital Cut Files and is owned by my (online) friend Ashley Horton.

Here's what I did. For the first layout, I used the Right On Target background cut file and the Let's Talk Summer cut file combined with the Happy Traveler collection from Imaginisce.

And for my second project I used the free cut file from the The Cut Shoppe Newsletter #49 "Hello Summer".

If you've got the time I would love for you to hop over to The Cut Shoppe's blog and maybe leave a comment?

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fab day!

Lucky | new Imaginisce Give Thanks collection

Today I'm sharing my very first project created with Imaginisce's new Give Thanks collection. It's also on their blog right now. I was over the moon when I saw this collection! It contains all of my favorite colors (exactly the colors of my living room!), patterns and critters (love owls!). I couldn't be happier!

For today's layout I chose this photo of my daughter with her youngest host sister. Most of you probably know that my daughter did an exchange year in the USA (from August 2014 until June 2015) where she stayed with this wonderful family. I chose this photo for two reasons: one because we are so thankful for the awesome host family who took our daughter in and treated her as one of their own kids and two also because the colors of the collection match the colors of the photo to a tee.
Here's what I did:

A few close-ups of the fabulous die-cuts belonging to this collection and one of cardstock phrase stickers. These word/phrase stickers come in three different colors and one package contains 102 phrase stickers total! For the title I used one of the awesome American Crafts kraft Thickers.

Using the I-Rock tool I added a bit of bling to the fun jars:

How I adore those puffy stickers!!

I really loved playing with this collection. Can't wait to see what you'll do!

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts, puffy stickers, cardstock stickers (Give Thanks), glam rocks; American Crafts: Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce I-Rock tool, I-Rock Jewel Tray and Lighted Tweezers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see what I created!
Have a fab day!
