Hello friends! It's Sunday and time for another layout! Fall is my favorite season and I had such a great time scrapping this page! I used a photo of my daughter, which she took herself for her Bookstagram account, hence a photo of her reading. I chose the beautiful "Leaf Cluster" cut file and used it as background:
Look how awesome the Leaf Cluster cut file looks like:
I used the Echo Park's "Celebrate Autumn" collection for my page and the "Autumn Floral" paper to cut out the leaf cluster. Initially I wanted to use the other side of Autumn Floral paper, but while building my page I decided the cut-out leaves looked much better using this side of the paper!
The cut out word "love" was still lying on my desk from one of the earlier pages I created and came from the "Valentine" cut file.
How I love Fall colors!
Thank you so much for taking a peek at my layout and don't forget to visit the JustNick store for this cut file and lots of other leaf cut files!
Wishing you happy scrapping!

Beautiful | Pink Paislee | Step-by-step | My Creative Scrapbook
Hello friends! In this post I'm sharing a step-by-step of my "Beautiful" layout, created for My Creative Scrapbook with their September Main Kit.
This is the layout I created:
I'm a huge fan of Pink Paislee and totally adore this month's kit featuring the Auburn Lane collection! I love it so much I didn't want to "spill" any papers and used my kit very carefully. The reason I'm telling you this, is that this is how I came up with the idea for this design, using only 1 sheet of paper: paper 07.
I really like the design of paper 07 with all the small triangles and decided I wanted to use the geometrical idea of this paper, but not necessarily limited to triangles. I toyed with some ideas and decided on the diamond shape.
First I cut off strips of paper of 3 "rows" wide, like this:
Next I cut diamond shapes consisting of 6 triangles wide and 6 triangles long. After cutting the first, I used that one as a template to cut the rest of the diamond shapes:
I found that I really wanted smaller diamond shapes as well and cut a few of those too. Because the papers in the Auburn Lane collection are all double sided I automatically had diamond shapes in 2 different designs:
Placing the shapes this way and that, I decided on this design:
Using just a tiny bit of adhesive I glued the shapes to the cardstock, so I could always rearrange them later-on. I added my photo, a journaling card from paper 01 and some die-cuts & stickers and when I was happy with the way the layout looked I used my sewing machine to stitch the shapes permanently to my page.
This is it! Really very easy! Hope you like it!

Starbucks, Doodlebug & JustNick!
Hi everyone! Today I'm up at JustNick's blog with my layout for this week's "Words/Phrases" assignment. I chose the "You are my happy" cut file as it was perfect to scrap these fun photos of my daughter posing in a huge Starbucks cup:
Last October my daughter went on vacation with her friends and was instructed to send me a lot of fun photos and this was one of them. As she adores coffees from Starbucks, both warm and cold, this "You are my happy" cut file was just what these photos needed!
The "Cream and Sugar" collection I used is from my favorite manufacturer "Doodlebug Design". I just love the bright colors, fun prints and the adorable die-cuts and doodle-pops in this collection.
I sized the cut file to fit my 12" x 12" paper and cut it from the "Sugar Doodles" paper. I love how it turned out:
To adhere the cut file on my page I used just a tiny bit of adhesive and added a little machine stitching here and there both so it won't fall off later-on and to add a bit of extra texture to my page.
This is it from me today. The "You are my happy" cut file is perfect for so many occasions, I'm sure I'll use it again and again. Don't forget to check out all the words and phrases cut files in the JustNick store.
Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you happy scrapping!

Beautiful | Pink Paislee | My Creative Scrapbook
Hey friends, here's another page created with the Auburn Lane collection from Pink Paislee, which was included in the beautiful September Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.
I just adore all the small leaves and flower die-cuts in this collection!
This is a page about the rainbow colored knitted sleeve my neighbor's sister knitted for my drain pipe. Isn't it awesome?! It sure brightened my garden (and my day)!

Favorite Season | September Reveal My Creative Scrapbook
So, it's the 6th of the month and that means that the new kits from My Creative Scrapbook were revealed yesterday! Pam always sends me the Main kit and like always I totally adore it! It features the Auburn Lane collection from Pink Paislee with a few super fun other products like a stencil from Carta Bella and a set of beautiful Thickers. I decided to put the stencil to good use straight away and created this fun Fall page of my youngest son:
and then of some beautiful touches of gold!
Here are the close-ups: first of the part where I used the stencil and the Thickers:
then of this adorable "Autumn" card:
