June Doodles Sketch!
This is the sketch I made:
And here's my take:
Remember I told you about the new Doodlebug/Hampton Arts stamps? For this page I used lots of them: Flower Garden, Home Sweet Home, Party Time, Journal Shapes & Thankful. LOVE them all!!
The layout is about my youngest who loves to copy his dad ... here he reads his magazine, uses his reading glasses and wears his shoes. Isn't he sweet? He always manages to make me smile.
If you want to see what Aphra did with the sketch, then hop over to Doodlebug's blog!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I really appreciate it!

Monique

Doodles Sketch {by me!}
The sketches are designed by Jessy (card sketch) and by me (layout sketch).
This is the sketch:
and this is my take on it (you can find it HERE on Doodlebug's blog), however the DT had an extra challenge: we had to use at least 75% green on our layout .... (it's St. Patrick's Day on March 17, in case you were wondering why, LOL).
My take on this week's subject is a layout about our own "St. Patrick's Day". As my husband is called "Patrick" and because he turned 50 last year, we called his birthday: "St. Patrick's Day"!!
Supply List: Patterned Paper: Petite Prints, Colorwheel, Welcome Home and Bon Apetit; Diecuts: Birthday Celebration and Welcome Home; Doodle-Pops: Kaleidoscope; Sticker: Headlines "Celebrate"; Cardstock Alpha Stickers: Jack & Jill; Doodle Twine
Thanks for stopping by my blog again today!
Hugs,
Monique

Ice Fun!
Such a shame that the snow and ice have melted again. We had such beautiful days, full of snow and sunshine! but now we're back to grey skies and rain, lots of rain :(. BUT luckily I took lots of photos and have enough to scrap all the pp winter lines I bought! Here's a layout I created for the Dutch Dares using a sketch I made myself. The paper and stickers are from Simple Stories, "Year.O.Graphy". I love the designs and colors of this line!! With my new typewriter I typed the journaling straight on the background paper.
Handig joh!
My youngest is trying to skate with his brand new skates and he needs to practice a lot! Manon and Patrick are helping him.
If you want to see the other designers' creations, please visit the Dutch Dares' blog and if you want a chance to win this month's RAK just use this sketch for your next layout and tell us where to find it! (open to everyone everywhere!!)
Weer hartstikke leuk dat je even langs kwam!
Thanks for stopping by, it's highly appreciated!

Just a quick post,
Used MME papers and created the background with a Heidi Swapp mask and an inking pad and then machine stitched the lot! Flowers from Prima, grungeboard swirl from Tim Holtz, "red with white dots flag" from the local supermarket, alfa stickers from Jenni Bowlin and red letters from Scrapworks, furthermore a button and bling.
And this is Tanya's sketch it's based upon:
TFL and see you soon! Monique

Another sketch on Little Shop of Sketches' blog!!

Thanks Tanya for this wonderful sketch!! I wanted to scrap a page with multiple photos and this sketch came just in time!! In December 2007, when Timothy's soccer team won for the 1st time, I had these photos printed straight away! I was so proud of him, I couldn't wait to sit down and scrap about it.....but life got in the way and these photos were still sitting on my desk...until today!
If you want to see what the other designers did with the sketch, or if you want to play along, hop on over to Little Shop's blog!!
